Awakening Two

Killer

The pen in my right finger flicks fast side to side, my three finger's shake responding  to the movement,  I finish what I write in my note book as the Teacher dismisses the class. My finger's remain shaking but on both now, like I'm experiencing anxiety, I hadn't felt this in years and that feeling of my chest getting heavy, these are the feelings I had not missed about being human. The sun hits my skin walking through the yard, the warmth is delightful no longer feeling like sweat is building up on the surface. "New tattoo" Gabriella points at it. The ink is dark and fresh with a red lining around it.  "They have matching one" Shawn who walks beside me but his head is turned away from me not allowing me to lips read his lips. He whispers something to her but I couldn't hear it. I hear Gabrielle's giggle, her eyes  moves with her face expression but I wasn't so sure what expression it was; as my eye view goes blurry with black spots.  "Are you okay?" Shawn's voice echo's at a distance.  The sun becomes to bright that makes my eyes squint slightly. Where is Hannah? Since our mark  tattoo has been  imprinted I can see where she is in the back of my mind, like a tracker had been put in my mind but its fading.   Shawn's touch breaks the trance as he shakes my arm. My eye view goes back to normal. "Yeah I'm alright" I tell them to go without me for lunch in the cafeteria.  The ink tattoo starts to fade slightly.  Hannah is rejecting the mark.  

The thought of Hannah's naked body touching mine, her boobs, her hips against mine so close like the other night. I thought she'd accept me through love making, I suggested it was that but maybe it was nothing but lust after all.   I feel another heart beat,  i know it's hers, its not fast how I remembered it, its slowing down like its  fading.  A vision comes through,  only flashes of different things of what she is seeing and feeling.  High trees,  then something's comes in view that I don't recognize but I had seen them orange eyes before; she's surrounded by wolves. I had heard her scream as  I felt  sharp teeth dig in her skin.  The last thing I had felt before the vision  ends was Hannah's tire falling down her left cheek. The tip of the  building of the campus from a tree top gives me a hint she's in the north side of the campus. I was on the South. I start to jog feeling my  heavy legs move more effect then normal. I smell her scent; its getting stronger as my vampire ability's comes back to the surface the heaviness from my legs drifts away. 

I see her limb body there on the ground, Toby's mouth decorated in her scented blood, Claudia is behind him in her wolf transform she see's me coming but doesn't move only reacting by showing off her full mouth of teeth.  My feet get's pushed off the ground, my back hit the dirt  fighting off George, his claws cuts my left arm only giving me a light pink mark.  "George, You need me to help her" George nips while throwing up off my chest. My vampire ability's are strong once again and the ink tattoo is faded half way now.  Hannah hadn't rejected me or anything like I had thought, she's dying.  

I grab George's head and front legs, what might look like I am hugging him but give him a squeeze, he snaps at me but stops when I hear cracking. I let go as George body drops into a sleep.   "Your killing her"  She stand up transforming into her human self.  "No we are not" Claudia breaks a tree branch off and swing it my way.  My reflex failed me this time as I go with the branch hitting another tree. Claudia's human face is still on display but her fur comes out onto her skin, her teeth are on show with her thick black nails and her green eyes grow brighter.    "Keep going Toby" Claudia's voice is demanding.  Hannah's blood is on Toby's face. "Your killing her"  My voice sounded like a weep under Claudia's  hold. "Keep going she'll survive" George says  lipping on his foot, his voice is  in a daze but a hint of anger is in it towards the end.  I don't usually beg so I wasn't going to say any pleases or thanks. 

"I can feel her.... she is dying"  Claudia shakes the branch that is against my chest making me feel  splinters go into my skin slightly. 

Toby  frowns raising Hannah's head up slightly under his hand. "that cant be" His voice sounds rough. I show Claudia the ink tattoo by lifting my wrist up. She grabs it  like  I was going to attack her with it.  "Check her George"  Claudia  still keeps a hold on me while George checks her wrist. "He lies" George says at the start before he transforms into a wolf once again biting into Hannah's other arm.   Toby pushes him off her, they go rolling down, around into a ball, growls exchange and leaves with dirt go up in the air. They where fighting over Hannah, like she'd become  a property, Toby had made claims and now George wanted her too.   They didn't care if she was dying. They left Hannah there, her chest is slowly moving. A sign she was still here.  "Claudia, the mark is behind her ear, let me show" She cuts me off.  "No tricks, I'll rip your head off" She lets me go and then pushing me forwards to Hannah body. I push her hair over her shoulder to reveal the matching tattoo.  It is almost gone.   "She wont make it, this transformation is to powerful for her"

Hannah is pale and her heart beat is slowing even more, skipping a few normal beats.  "Save her then" Claudia cuts in. "What About me" Toby cuts in no sight of George anywhere. "I don't care, you can't have neither of us" she sobs and then growls at him. "This is all your fault, you know that" Toby says to Claudia. "You knew the risk " Claudia pushes him.  "Shut it or if you can't go away" Claudia start's to say something else but Toby cuts in. "You' you can save her right?" Toby turns my way trying to get balance on his feet.  The only way to save her now  is by turning her into a vampire.  Sucking out the werewolf venom that was easy to do but my fangs will cause an infection in her skin going into her blood stream and making her into a vampire. My fangs will pikes deeper. I say this out loud hoping Hannah can hear my voice. Toby slides in front of me  this time touching Hannah's  forehead.  "She can't die"

"Move aside" Toby does so.  Hannah skin feels soft on my lips reminding me of the other night but it quickly fades away. The werewolf venom taste like sweeten water and a hint of sliver in it towards the end. I spit it out as I feel my fangs dig into her warm flesh.

Hannah will not be a vampire until a few days later.  Our matching ink tattoo has disappeared.  

I still remain a vampire and I had put a curse on another.  I would need to explain this to Charlie  and Copper when we'd get back. 

"What's happening?"    Toby starts to stand up planning to lift Hannah's body but Claudia grabs his arms from doing so. "We are going back, that's what happening Toby"  That's when George comes out of the dark with another wolf that is much bigger then him in bulk. His ear's are down and his fur is covered in blood. "Vincent" Claudia's voice is in surprise.
