Date Night

The place is pretty crowded for a Thursday night, a few game machines are in the middle, too the  right side of the place; were Chris and I played Ball Shoot through a hoop twice before we'd get drinks at the bar.  There is an area of tables  and chairs where each table people played different games. I wasn't sure if the bar provide it or people brought there games here to play.  The first table where playing some sort of  card slash board game that was called Dungeons and Dragons. Some of them dressed up in costumes from fairy tale stories like elves and  others where dressed up  that looked like knights but had red flaky skin like a dragon would have if they existed.

Chris wears  blue jeans matching his denim shirt with a simple black shirt, looking very casual but the  sliver chain on his neck and  sliver watch that goes well with his shiny black boot dressers it up more. Seeming like he'd make more of an effect on tonight then I had done. I had put on make up  slightly heavy then normal   but that was only to cover my tiredness under my eyes. I had tied my hair up leaving some of my front hair piece's out, they'd done this strange curl  effect when drying from the rain on the way to Chris's Car in the packing lot; that's around the building.  Chris and I had been talking throughout the night,  there were never awkward moments, the conversation flows smoothly and we'd shared a few laughs. The night is going prefect.

Chris finishes his drink what looks like Coca-Cola, I'm only half way through mine. The bartender's hand reaches the empty cup, Chris's attention was focused on me but he calmly grabs my cup and then looks at the bartender guy, his eye had gone wide and I wasn't sure if he had blinked. "Not Finished Here, do you mind?"  That's when I turned around to see Toby with a tray of empty cups on it. Seriously! What?  Now this was creepy and most of all awkward.  I feel my body shuffle in my sit ready to run the hell out of here. "No sorry I don't mind, care on"  Toby's voice is low but raw, like his annoyed and wanted me to stop and this was the way he'd let me know. That he was his watching me. Toby had really changed but his not so good qualities in him had stuck like glue. "What are you" I start to ask why he was here. He couldn't get a job this quick in this area and out of all places; here. "Did  you want to order another?" Toby  cuts me off and ignores that I had tried to ask him a question.  Chris had decline to order another drink as Toby heads out of the bar area into the table area collecting more empty cups on the table.

"We could go somewhere else?" Chris offers kindly; knowing I'd probably look as uncomfortable as I felt in that moment. "No it's okay" I call another waiter downing my drink and order us another two drinks of what we just had. I am not letting Toby ruin this night out at this place with Chris.  We head out to the Clown Machine, Chris puts in two coins into the machine and a few red balls drop down to us.  The clowns laughs throughout the game making me go faster when I miss hitting them. Chris laughs  "Your on fire girl"  He hits two clown heads making them go back. There is two left to hit but the buzzer runs out telling us the game is over.  My chest gasp air as I've been laughing with him throughout it too. "Want another go?" Chris puts another two coins in the machine as all the clown heads pop up again. The clowns laughs weren't so funny and cheerful anymore. They'd turn into a creepy slow  motion like there mocking me.

The same blonde girl is here with another guy who  is much taller with broad shoulders, he doesn't seem to interested in being here with his serious face. He takes a sit at the table area where people play Uno. He looks around the room but then locks eyes with mine. His black pupils where big that matched the size of his outer ring of his nostrils.  My chest felt it had been whiplashed. The red ball felt cold in my hands as Chris hits a third clown head down. I had missed but that didn't make me stop from grabbing another ball.

The Blonde hair girl pulls at Toby's  shirt at his chest  that shows his tanned skin on his left hip.  He doesn't push her back but also didn't react continuing putting the empty cups on his tray. The guy who I locked eyes with speaks, his voice is deep and even with confident.   He's says a few words before saying the Blonde girls name, Claudia. Toby nods his head laughing as if what he had said was funny but no one else was reacting but the two people beside him playing Uno and Claudia.

Chris kisses are sweet; no hint alcohol I'd taste from his saliva and his hand feels comforting in mine. My chest feels even with my breath calming down.   His skin seems less pale tonight like he'd been taking  vitamin tablets and they'd been working. His light brown hair is waxed tonight giving him that bad look style  even though his not the kind.

We get fifty tickets from the Clown Machine. We high five collecting the tickets, afterwards we played on the ping, pong machine which gave us another ten tickets.  We head to the prize bar picking out different lollies for lolly bag.  Chris pick out from the lolly bag; he holds  a Sour Head.  I excuse myself going to the bathroom.  I was worried since seeing Toby  here to leave Chris by himself, I didn't want him to scare him away but considering he looks busy with his new girl Claudia and other strange guy over at the cards tables while working. I'm sure it'll be okay.
