In a cold, dimly lit room sat Harley Quinn, who was handcuffed to the table. She fidgeted with the cuffs nervously as she waited for the interrogation to begin. In the room behind the false mirror were Nightwing and Jim, discussing how to handle Harley. Nightwing kept thinking back to his altercation with the Joker, and his rage took over and he bursted into the room. He approached the table with Harley. He got up in her face and slammed his hands on the table before her. Nightwing began interrogating Harley until tears started to pour from her eyes. He screamed and demanded answers from her that she could not give.

"He left you to die, and you're still going to defend him?" screamed Nightwing.

"He was going to come back for me, he always does," protested Harley, shifting her gaze.

"He's a murderer and a psychopath!" protest Nightwing.

"He's the love of my life," defended Harley. Her tears began pouring like a flood as Jim tapped Nightwing on the shoulder.

"We should talk," said Jim.

As they entered the office, Jim slammed a file titled "Harlene Quinzel" onto the table. Nightwing picked up the file and began examining it.

"She wasn't always the Joker's girl, Harlene Quinzel was quite normal before she got involved with that maniac. She grew up with a mom and a dad, had a lot of friends, was even a honor student in her younger years." said Jim

Nightwing possessed a look of confusion.

"How did she end up like this?" asked Nightwing.

Jim told Nightwing to flip the page.

"Her father was a drinker, a rageful one at that. He had a habit of taking out his frustration on the people he claimed to care about. One night he had a few too many and arrived home angrier than ever. So angry that he tried striking Harley herself until her mother stepped in. The fight escalated and her father grabbed a knife and stabbed her mom in front of her," replied Jim.

Nightwing shook his head.

"Then how could she just watch Barbara die then, she did nothing," screamed Nightwing.

"I miss my little girl too Dick, but our only chance of finding him is with Harley," said Jim.

Nightwing nodded in agreement and Jim proceeded back into the interrogation room. He greeted Harley at the table and brought her a glass of water and uncuffed her from the seat.

Nightwing watched Harley's expression change from nervous to almost calm while talking to Jim, who patiently remained still in his chair.

"Harley, when my men arrived at the crime scene they found you knocked out; what happened in that house?" asked Jim.

Harley's face dropped and tears began flowing once more. She shook her head and turned away from Jim.

"I know it must be hard for you, but you have to realize who the Joker actually is," said Jim.

"He wouldn't have done that if I would've listened to him," said Harley.

"I think that little girl's life you saved would say otherwise," said Jim.

Harley's eyes grew wide.

"There is good in you Harley, throughout everything he has done to you, you've maintained a good heart. It's never too late to change who you are," said Jim. Harley grew a smile as more tears piled down. However, without warning, Jim's phone began blowing up.

"Will you excuse me one minute?" asked Jim.

He walked away and his face became visibly stressed. He walked out of the interrogation room and approached Nightwing.

"The prosecutor who put Joker away was found dead with his face carved," said Jim.
