I'm a dweeb, I'll admit it. I can't count how many times I've seen ghost busters! I love those films - anything stupid with paranormal activity? Chefs kiss! My mom and dad practically raised me on horror films and stories, we lived in a rather large cabin buried deep in the mountains, extremely secluded place.
And when I was around 6, I saw my first anomaly! It was a child-sized creature with absolutely no eyes. It looked like it was made out of birch yet it had a mouth - not a creepy one just a normal looking human mouth which to me is far scarier. It looked like a birch tree human boy wearing jeans and a black t-shirt. He was playing on the swings in my backyard! Honest! It really really happened!!!
Of course, my house was extremely haunted too. Not by malicious entities - unless you count slamming the door and locking you in the basement then shutting off the lights and shaking the furniture as malicious. Still pissed off at whatever spirit kept doing that to me. Every god damn time I went down there!
My mom also had a haunted doll room and whenever you go in there it feels like all your energy is being sucked out of you. There are definitely malicious spirits trapped in that room, gods know what would happen if you decided to sleep in there... probably possession.
I wouldn't consider my childhood abnormal though? Just lived with ghosts, saw the tree boy on the swings a few nights, saw a deer boy when I was walking to school once - mostly boy but had antlers, deer ears, and a tail, I got to talk to him! His name was Deirdre! I wonder what he's doing now... if he's alive.
The kids at school never believed I experienced so many strange things.
Oh! And the glasses I wear, my dad is a super paranormal science freak, these glasses actually let you see ghosts! I've had them since I was 13... so many dead children in my middle/high school...
It's been my goal since childhood to try and befriend all the spirits I can and I dream of giving anomalies a safe space to live, maybe see if they could coexist with humans. I know there are so many strange beings living right beside us and I want to show them they can be accepted into our society! I just have to try and find them...
