Chapter 4

Calvin

"Samantha are you ready?" I asked as I waited patiently at the door watching time. "Here I come!" She yelled as she came in with a white gown and pearls on. She looked amazing and I wasn't going to act as if her appearance didn't still make my heart thump but I guess the pull went away when she first started acting different.

'I can't get pregnant' still those four words made me think how am I supposed to do this? What can I do if I'm not going to be expecting any time soon. "Calvin you okay?" Samantha questioned pulling me out of my thoughts. Shaking my head I grabbed the car keys and escorted her to car soon after getting in the driver's to leave. The gate opened up and I made sure security was at it's best as it always was when I left the facility.

When we arrived there were already multiple guests showing up and already there. A lot of paparazzi but security kept them in check. As we walked into the huge room it lit up with candle lighting and the chandelier it would seem as if Luke had thrown a ball here. I didn't feel like answering any questions right now so instead I walked to the tables arranged for the vip section which didn't really include anyone but my brothers and I, my wife and two associates from each company to represent.

I see two familiar figures which happen to be both my younger and older brother standing next to each other. Luke and I we both had distinct features that made you tell us apart from a mile away but Oliver he had both my features and Luke's so others knew who he was related to when they take a look. I joined them greeting their secretary and PA. "If it isn't my wonderful big brother along with his lovely wife" Oliver gave me a hug and turned to Samantha to give her a kiss on her hand

He held his lips there for a while which bothered me a little out of respect he should not be flirting with my wife but I just ignored it and took a seat as well as the other did. "So where's the lovely lady in charge with helping you Luke?" Oliver asked voicing my thoughts. 'Where had she been?' I questioned in my head the sound of a motorcycle engine stopping interrupting.

The front door was open so people could easily see who was all arriving. As soon as she took her helmet off I was surprised to see it was Luke's PA. She got off and that's when I got to see how stunning she looked. Luke cleared his throat before going over to give her a hand. As he took her hand in his she smiled and for second I was entranced but I quickly looked away going for a sip of champagne.

"Oh before I forget all of you come with me" Oliver announced making way to another room. It looked to be a private room  to which I found my mother and father sitting. "I didn't know mother and father were here why didn't anyone notify me?" I asked. "Because we came for you son" my mother said.

Shocked I sat down cautious of what we were discussing whether it be good or bad I had no clue. "Luke has told us about what has been going on between you and Samantha as you both just found out you can't conceive together" my father started off "Soon Calvin, you will need a heir and knowing the information we know now we came up with some options to which we asked Samantha and it we don't want you to adopt just yet your first child has to be of your seed" my mother added.

"So we decided a surrogate would be necessary" Samantha blurted out. I looked over at her at lost of words. "You mean someone to carry my child inside without even knowing them?" I asked furious at the thought. "No Vin we actually had Samantha meet with Luke and they had a perfect suggestion since Luke has known her quite sometime" I didn't say a word and let them continue "Amara his PA" hearing her name mentioned in my affair must have surprised her.

I looked over to her and she started to look panicked "I assure you something must be wrong I haven't even met him up until now" she said quickly. "You are an outstanding worker and woman and not only will we compensate you greatly for it but you will also be staying under Calvin's roof while you and Samantha get along and bond over it" mother stated.

"Do I have any say in this at all?" I asked looking my father in his. Smiling he shook his head and sat down some papers. "These are just some documents station everything that was said previously you will be living with Calvin and Samantha as well as paid off the job and payment after and more things like your diets changes yada yada" he looked at her expectantly and I looked at Sam she looked happy and satisfied so I just left it up to Amara now.

She fiddled with her fingers at first but then sighed and signed the paper. "Alright our first appointment to the doctors is tomorrow so be up bright and early alright?" Sam said in a cheerful voice Amara nodded slowly still trying to process as well as myself and I left out.

The rest of the party consisted of my brothers introducing ourselves together my father making a speech and various amounts of wine drank for myself.

The next morning

I woke up with a heavy hangover my head throbbing crazy. Groaning I looked at my clock to see what time it was. '8:30' I closed my eyes but then shot them back open as I sprang out my bed "GODDAMNIT SAMANTHA" I yelled frustrated. Why the hell hadn't she woken me up. I took a shower and got dressed in a black t-shirt and black dress pants throwing a blazer on I rushed out the house and out the hospital in my GPS.

When I got in the waiting room I saw that only Amara, Samantha and my mother were there. Amara looked very distraught while Sam and my mother looked calm as ever. I went to sit by them and after about 5 minutes I heard the nurse call "Mr.Heighns we're ready for you" I stood up and followed her into the room. I followed the instructions she gave me and was soon sent on my way out of the room.

"Miss.Winters" the nurse called. Amara got and I saw her hands shaking ass she followed the nurse and we all waited. Less than 15 minutes late she came out "Can I make a phone call?" She asked my mother nodded and she made her way to a private room so she could talk.
