😐💀 Awkward crush moment 💀😐

========== Megamind's POV ==========

Megamind was covered in bruises as he limped back to his apartment. Mayor Chucky had somehow been warned of his arrival, and his guards were experienced in combat. Megamind had barely gotten out with his life, and even then had gotten beaten up severely. Every inch of him was in pain. Luckily the #sigmanation gang members hadn't come to harass him when he was walking back, so he made it back to his apartment alive and somewhat well. Trudging up the stairs, Megamind started plotting his next attack on Mayor Chucky. The gang would not be pleased with his failure, but when they learned that there could be a mole ratting them out, they'd probably give Megamind another chance to make things right.

========== The next day ===========

Megamind awoke feeling a searing pain in his back. Groaning, he got up to start his day. A hot shower would probably be enough to soothe him for the day, he thought. But getting up, he realised he was going to be late for his cafe plans with his best friend and crush, Pennywise.

"Shit!" He muttered as he threw on his clothes and rushed out the door. He sprinted down the sidewalk, ignoring all previous pain and reached the sidewalk at 11:37, which was thirty minutes later than they'd originally planned. Megamind looked around frantically, but didn't see Pennywise anywhere. Frowning, Megamind realised Pennywise probably had left because of his tardiness. Suddenly, a hand grabbed Megamind by the shoulder, causing him to flinch from the sudden pain. Could it be someone from his gang? An enemy maybe? Megamind had been very careful with his identity but the possibility couldn't be crossed off. Megamind whipped around, ready to punch the person, but froze when he saw who it was.

"Penny!" He shouted, Pennywise smiling back at him.

"God, you scared the crap outta me." Megamind said, slumping with relief, he hadn't been found out in public.

"So..rry..." Pennywise slurred.

Then Megamind noticed his jaw. It was all twisted, and near the bottom it was all blue and swollen.

"Jeez dude what the hell happened to ya? You look like you got hit with a construction pipe!" Megamind joked, but in reality he was worried sick for his friend.

"Fight. Got h't." Pennywise said, then groaned, clutching his hurt jaw. Megamind's frown deepened, and decided to abandon the cafe and tend to Pennywise's wounds. He knew Pennywise was a huge softy, and probably didn't even know how to handle a scraped knee. He was simply too innocent. It was weird though, that he'd gotten injured the same way Megamind had kicked the intruder. Maybe the attacker had run off and beaten up Pennywise because he was so angry. Sighing, Megamind realised he probably should've chased after the gang member. Then maybe Pennywise wouldn't have gotten so hurt. It was all his fault. He should've tried harder and then maybe this never would've happened-

"Are you ok M?"

Megamind snapped out of his thoughts.

"Huh?"

"You've b'n staring into space fo'ever dude..." Pennywise sounded worried about him, so he put on a fake smile.

"It was nothin'. Here, let's get ya cleaned up buddie."

They walked together for a while, Megamind holding Penny's hand. He didn't understand why, but it felt nice being so close. Megamind was blushing, and secretly never wanted the moment to end. But sadly, Megamind lived close to the cafe, and they made it to his house pretty quick.

========= Pennywise's POV ==========

Megamind took him inside his apartment, his hand slithering out of reach. Pennywise almost reached to grab it back, but decided against it. He couldn't let the other know of his hidden feelings. It was too dangerous, with him in a gang and everything. He'd only end up putting Megamind in danger.

Lately, he'd been trying to ghost Megamind. He'd originally planned to rid himself of his feelings for the blue, big brained man, but in their time apart it had done quite the opposite. When he'd been invited to the cafe, something inside him just snapped, and he agreed without thinking. Now, with Megamind taking him to be healed, the thoughts about his forbidden feelings came flowing back, and Pennywise felt a pang in his chest.

When they entered, Megamind told him to wait on his couch. He'd been in his apartment before, so it was no difficult task for Pennywise to make himself at home. The muffled noise of Megamind's dawgs moving around the kitchen made Pennywise smile a bit, despite his horrible pain. Megamind was so hot and scrumptious, and he made Pennywise go skittles colour whenever he thought of him.

Soon, Megamind came back with a few bandages and herbs.

"Oh no, n't rubbing alcohol..." Pennywise groaned.

"Listen, you need it if you don't want it to get infected, a'ight?"

Megamind crossed his arms, asserting dominance towards the alpha male, despite him being an omega himself. Pennywise blushed a bit and nodded.

"Good. Now chin up, I need to rub it on."

Pennywise felt Megamind lift his chin up, and hissed at the sudden pain. He was about to complain, then realised their awkward situation. Their orbs were inches apart, Megamind sitting in his lap. 'I wish you were my discord kitten,' Pennywise thought longingly. Pain flooded his jaw, and he shrieked, causing Megamind to move back, grunting as if he was in pain as well.

"Stop flailing, or i'll kick ya in your balls bitch."

That shut Pennywise up faster than a karen being told they're speaking to the manager, and he endured the pain silently afterwards.

======= Awkward time skip o.o =======

Pennywise was now all bandaged up, and Megamind told him they could reschedule their cafe visit to tomorrow if he was up to it. Eagerly, he nodded his head, and bounced excitedly home knowing tomorrow he would hang out with his crush, this time not ruining events with his injuries from being in a gang. He couldn't wait!
