"You dimwits! How the fuck did you get the wrong one?!"

"We're sorry boss!" The two men replied simultaneously, unsure how they could make up for their hundredth mistake thus far.

Their boss sighed, anger cooling down now as he was used to the pair's inconvenient behaviour. He turned towards the boy struggling against the ropes they'd tied around him. Francis desperately told them to let him go but that went just as unnoticed.

However, the relaxed atmosphere soon tensed when an unannounced sound of a can opening made all of them turn to a dark wall. They hadn't been expecting any company. The figure's face couldn't be seen completely because of the shadow falling on their face but the source of the sound, an energy drink in hand, caused enough confusion for the boss to break free of his temporary shock.

"Who're you?!"

The figure stepped forward after taking her sip, the light now revealing the mask she wore, one that hadn't been seen in countless years.

"Your grim reaper."

-Amelia's POV-

"You like him!"

I shook my head at my cousin's expression after telling her a little about Prince. My mother had called me home because Hiyori had come over and she knew I wouldn't want to miss spending time with her.

Hiyori was like my older sister and we were really close, especially when my parents would travel abroad. My childhood was full of our sleepovers and play dates even if she was a bit older than me.

"It's not like that-" I was going to explain before my front door started knocking hysterically.

In a panic, both Hiyori and I got up but before we could move, my mother was at the door, signalling towards us to stay still.

She opened the door cautiously but looked as if she relaxed a moment which made me do the same before a familiar but distressed voice came from the other side.

"Dominic! Please you have to help me!" Prince?

Both Hiyori and I started walking towards the door to see Prince drenched in rain, bruised and beaten, struggling to stand even, probably from running all this way.

"Come in, tell me what's wrong," My mother instructed, her voice serious and analysing the situation. I was going to turn to get a towel for him but he quickly exclaimed,

"My brother's been taken, you have to help me get him back!"

I froze and looked back at him in shock. My mother asked him more questions to which he answered hurriedly, not even glancing at anything else around him whilst I was brought back to when I was kidnapped, hoping to God that Francis wasn't going through the same thing.

By the time I had snapped out of it, Hiyori seemed to have gotten the towel for me and tried handing it to Prince but again he was too distressed to take notice. "Okay," My mother said, seeming to have gotten the information she needed which I'm sure even Prince realised because as soon as my mother's hand rested on his shoulder, he seemed to calm down slightly, accepting the towel my mother took from Hiyori and handed to him.

"I'll go after him. He'll be okay," She continued.

"I'm going with you," Prince exclaimed back but I as well as my mother knew that he was in no condition to do so. He was struggling enough as it was to stand, let alone try and fight to get Francis back.

"No, you won't,"

"But-"

"Trust me," my mother said sternly, and although Prince looked hesitant, he knew the tone my mother had used well. I wasn't sure how close they were but anyone could tell when she was in control.
