Bringing Hell

-Dominic's POV-

I'm going to murder them.

The words Liam told us continued to echo in my head and it would just make me angrier.

"They're going after Amelia."

I'm sure Blake saw the look in my eyes because just as I burst out in anger and started marching out of the room he was quick to hold me back.

"Let me go, Blake! If they're going to target Amelia I will rain hell on them! Those fucktards deserve to be massacred!"

"Dominic, please!" I could tell he was struggling to stop me from trying to get out of his grasp but any of his words would go right by my ears.

There was no way I was going to let them take her, to even threaten her. "She was going over to her friend's house, at least call her first to make sure she's there!" He tried to reason and I decided to listen. If I can get to her before they did, there was still time to protect her.

I slowly stopped struggling which clearly made those around us calm down in relief. I didn't know my anger affected them that much. Ignoring it though, I took out my phone and called Amelia, praying that she would answer her phone. After it continued to ring repeatedly with no answer, I got impatient and hung up,

"She not answering!" I yelled and this time Nick interrupted,

"Call her friend," I looked into his eyes and he told me to calm down so I breathed out and called Lara who picked up quickly, relieving me slightly but I was still on edge.

"Mrs Lucifer?" I heard her on the other side, confused as to why I was calling her.

"Hi Lara, is Amelia there with you?" I asked her quickly and she paused slightly.

"She said she was going over to Francis' house tonight, ma'am, is everything okay?" Lara has been Amelia's friend for a long time, she could tell that something was wrong and I knew she wouldn't ignore it. That's what I liked about her, why I trusted her as Amelia's friend but Francis?

Prince's brother.

I grit my teeth as I answered, "I need your help, Lara. Do you have Francis' number?" I asked her but she was quick to apologise and tell me she didn't have it.

"I'm sorry I couldn't be of more help," I smiled gently to myself, hearing the worry in her voice.

"Don't be," I softened my voice, "thank you, Lara," I hung up after that and my face dropped as I called Prince.

As it rang, I could hear Nick giving instructions to the rest of the group and they swiftly got prepared. After what happened to Liam, we weren't the only ones who wanted to destroy them. Our loyalty to each other was something that grew stronger after disbanding the gang and this was an insult we weren't going to ignore.

"Hey Dominic," Prince finally answered, his tone the same as it always was.

"Prince, I need your brother on the phone,"

He scowled at my order, "My brother-?"

"Now," I was more stern this time and he seemed to obey. I heard him walk around before stopping.

"Don't fuck up," I could him say from a distance to who I assumed was his brother and finally,

"Hello?" Francis seemed confused too and since I didn't hear any other voices in the background, I quickly got worried again.

"Francis, this is Amelia's mother," I started and he was quick to change his expression from confused to shocked,

"Mrs Lucifer! I-"

"Where is she, Francis?" He was quick in his answer which I would have normally appreciated if his answer wasn't the one I had feared the most.

"I'm not sure, she was supposed to be here 4 hours ago but didn't turn up. I thought something may have happened at home and that I'd hear from her later but..."

I hung up the phone after that, not wanting to hear anything else.

I put my head in my hands for a moment when I suddenly heard a voicemail which made the hairs on my arms stand.

Blake had tried calling Amelia again but as it reached the voicemail, the message left for us was just a cynical male laugh before the line was cut.

I looked up from my hands towards the rest of the group who had the same look that I did and when I finally turned to Nick, he looked at me with dedication and anger in his eyes,

"Let's go get her."

-Amelia's POV-

It had been three days.

Stuck in this basement with the ticking of the clock being the only thing getting me insane enough to stay awake despite my body screaming for me to close my eyes.

But I couldn't let myself do that. The last time I slept I was woken up by someone's kick to my stomach before a punch was thrown. I'm not sure how many others followed after that but all I remembered was telling myself that I couldn't sleep or it would happen again.

I was starving too. I hadn't eaten, I hadn't drunk and it was painful.

I whimpered, looking up at the clock in desperation.

Please.

I silently begged.

Please. Save me.

I put my head on the ground, telling myself I had to stay strong. That's what my parents would want me to do. I knew they were coming to get me. I knew. But...

Would I make it until then?

-

My eyes shot open when I felt a blow to the head.

I must have fallen asleep.

I looked up to see the same face, the face that scared me, tortured me. "I knew they wouldn't come," He tells me before heaving another kick to my side. "And now we have no use for you."

I watched him pull out a knife as my body went cold. I watched as he drew it upwards, expecting me to beg for my life but that was the last thing to come to mind.

The first was to fight.

I used the floor as support and swung a kick to his stomach which was enough to make him crouch and yell at me in anger but I drowned it all out. All I could hear was the sound of my own breath now.

He came forward, trying again to stab me but I pushed away from the floor, dodging the blade, grabbing his arm and twisting it behind his back into a hold that would break his shoulder if I was strong enough. I used all of my weight to keep him down but that didn't seem to stop him from moving so I grabbed the knife out of his hand and pointed it toward his neck.

Now I was boiling and he was the one to freeze under me.

"You don't have it in you," He struggles, and they were the first words to break me out of the silence. I realised the position I was in and my hands started trembling. "You'd be a monster if you did," He continues.

He's right. I looked down at my hands and couldn't bring myself to. I'd be a monster. A murderer.

He sensed my hesitation and used that moment of weakness to push me off of him and get himself free, standing in front of me once again.

"But we- we are monsters." He finished and looked as if he was ready to attack me once again. As he stepped forward I covered my head with my arms and shut my eyes tightly when suddenly-

A gunshot went off.

Slowly, I looked back up again in time to see his body fall, blood pooling around him, leaving me breathless, unsure to be scared or relieved.

Behind him, a figure emerged from the shadows making me tremble until the face came to the light.

"Father! You came!"

Using the last of my strength, I ran up to him where he engulfed me in a hug I thought I'd never receive again.

"We all did."
