Chapter Seventeen: A Suprise

The cool autumn breeze was just the right thing for today, and the leaves were piling up around the streets. You opened the blinds, letting in the sunlight through slightly frosted glass. Sitting down on the couch, you read a book you had found on the shelf while drinking a tea to get you going for the day.

You and Harry had been planning the group a special outing, but had kept it a surprise from the others. There was an amusement park that Manny was going on about that was in town, and you thought you may as well go to see it. You were looking forward to all the rides, Manny had said that there we many rollercoasters and thrilling rides, which made you even more excited for tonight's event.

Eventually, the trio made their way downstairs, ready for the day. Manny sat down next to you, "I heard that there's so many prizes at the park too, like big toys and candy!" You giggled slightly over how excited he was even just thinking about the place. You hadn't been spending too much time around him so it was nice to be doing something for him.

"Yeah, I've heard that too! It sounds like so much fun!" You agreed, placing down your book. "How about we play a game?" You suggested, and everyone gathered around to play a board game.

The day turned into night within what felt like minutes, and you finally were ready to leave. "Hey Robin, Manny, Harry, I was thinking we could go for a drive!" You said, enthusiastic. Harry raced out to the car, wanting to get there as soon as possible. "I don't know, where are we going?" Robin asked, "you won't know if you don't come." You said, walking out to the car. Manny followed close behind and Robin, still sceptical, eventually got into the car as well.

It took you a while to find, but once you got there you couldn't believe your eyes. There were lights and colours everywhere within what looked like thousands of rides. Manny gasped in suprise, giggling as you pulled up outside the park. You all ran out of the car, excited and ready. "Where to first?" Harry asked, eagerly. "The mirror maze!" Manny yelled, running through the crowd. 

You spent the night in laughs and small talk, being scared by the haunted house and petrified by the rollercoasters. It was getting late, so you and the trio decided to go on your final ride, the Ferris wheel. You seated yourself next to Harry, snuggling up beside him with an ice-cream cone in your hand. As the ride started, butterflies were set free in your heart as you knew that you where home, in the arms of your lover.
