I woke up happily to the sound of birds chirping. Just kidding, I woke up like the dragon in The Hobbit.

I just want sleep, is that too much to ask for?

Nevertheless, I managed to drag my dead body from my bed and go to the bathroom, groaning when I realized it was Monday. How is that even considered a day?

I'm gonna skip through my morning routine to get to the good stuff; A.K.A., Clifford in our lame school uniform.

He came to our door to pick me up and catch a ride to school. Poor guy wasn't expecting me to laugh in his face as soon as the door cracked open.

"What? What's so funny?" he asked confusedly. He didn't know that I was laughing at his shorts, considering I've only ever seen him in skinny jeans and never seen his legs. They seemed considerably paler than the rest of his body, which contrasted with his leg hair. He had on his uniform shirt and belt. He just looked like such an awkward turtle that I almost peed myself laughing.

"Your...shorts...!" I wheezed, holding my stomach. This kid knew how to make my morning.

"Shut up, Mickey," he groaned. "My mom won't let me wear my skinny pants, so I brought them with me and I'm changing in the car."

I still chuckled on our way to my car, snapping a picture of him in his uniform.

"Delete it," he said without turning around. I laughed, pretending to delete it when really I was setting his legs as his contact picture.

"Try not to stare at me as I change," he smirked and took off his shorts.

"Like I have a desire to look at your vampire self," I rolled my eyes and kept watch on the road. I heard sounds of struggle and looked at Michael's pink face.

"Awh, is Mikey Wikey having trouble putting on his pants?" I giggled.

"You try putting on skinny jeans in the car, Micks," he grunted, finally pulling his pants all the way up.

"Okay, Clifford, you win," I replied, putting up my hands as soon as I parked. "Your prize is your first day in jail!"

"Oh, are there ponies, too?" he asked sarcastically.

"Yes, all-black ponies that fart out glittery chocolate," I rolled my eyes.

"Lead the way, m'lady," Michael said poshly, holding open the door for me to pass. I gave him a curtsy as he slung an arm around me.

"Who's the new guy?" "Why's he so pale?" "They're so cute together," I heard from students around me, ignoring that last comment.

"Awhhhh, did you hear that?" Michael smiled cheekily, squishing my face. "We're cute together. You wanna take me up on my offer?"

"How about no, Clifford?" I laughed, removing his hands from my face.

He sighed before getting this sneaky look on his face, stealing my books from my hands, and managing to peck my cheek quickly. Then the jerk ran down the hallway, forcing me to chase after him.

"MICHAEL!" I giggled, still running down the hallway before smacking into the principal, Michael hiding behind lockers and snickerng.

"Young lady, what is all the rush?" he asked, his eyebrows crinkling.

"N-nothing, sir," I stuttered. I really hated even getting in the least trouble.

"Be more careful, you could hurt someone, no running in the halls," he sighed, shaking his head and walking down the hall.

Michael burst out laughing, handing my my stuff. I just stared up at him with mock-hard eyes.

"You're cute when you're mad," he smirked, throwing me over his shoulder and running to my locker.

"Michael!" I squealed, punching his back with my books. "Put me down!"

"Fine," he chuckled and set me down. I sighed and put away my backpack, getting my other materials from my locker before closing the door and walking with Michael to his locker.

"So, apparently, my first class is Maths," he frowned.

"That's mine and Alexis's first class, too, let's go," I tugged on his hand. He followed, but not before hugging me from behind so he could pass through the door first.

"I actually hate you," I laughed, sitting in my usual spot next to Alexis, Michael sliding in the empty spot next to me.

"Hey, vampire, nice legs," Alexis laughed, showing Michael the picture he thought I deleted.

"Mickeeeeyyyy, I thought you deleted that!" he whined, hiding his face in my shoulder.

"Hey, nice legs, but get a tan," Alexis commented before putting away her phone prior to the teacher showing up.

He was pretending to be mad at me, crossing his arms and pouting, but couldn't resist my beautiful *not* face of weirdness.

He chuckled, sneaking another peck on the cheek. I just laughed and accepted it then, squishing our faces together.

I heard some girls giggling and overheard one saying, "They're adorable, are they together?"

Michael simply turned around, smile on his face, and said, "She keeps turning down my offers." He paused before loudly whispering, "She's cute, try to convince her to date me." I giggled and smacked his arm, the bell signaling the start of class.
