Chapter 9

Colby's POV:

It was now lunchtime and I decided to head to our table first since I brought a packed lunch today. As I sat at our table, I was about to unpack my lunch when suddenly, "Hey everyone!" I then looked to see Hazel smirking. "Turns out that Colleen here is so desperate to lose his virginity that he's sleeping with Sam!" My eyes widened as Hazel pointed at me.

"Wow, he's that desperate!" a cheerleader said. "Ladies, keep your man away from him before he steals them from you," Hazel cackled. "Not only is he desperate but he's also a slut!" a jock said. My eyes filled with tears as I grabbed my lunch and ran away. Once I left the cafeteria, I saw Sam and the gang walking my way.

"Babe, what's wrong?" Sam asked. I just ignored him as I ran away from them. I ran to the bleachers where I silently took a deep breath and silently opened up my lunch. I, sadly, was about to take a bite from my sandwich when "Sup loser!" I fearfully look up to see Luke and his friends surrounding me. "P-please, leave me alone!" I begged as I slightly shook in fear. "Oh look, the loser got me lunch," Luke smirked as he took my sandwich.

"Gross turkey! I guess you can have it," Luke said as he threw my sandwich on the floor and stepped on it.

Leo and Jack just laughed as they along with Luke began to kick me nonstop. Suddenly the kicking stopped as Luke was shoved to the ground.

Sam's POV:

"I thought I told you to leave him alone!" I snapped as I shoved Luke to the floor. "Whatever Gaybach, until next time loser," Luke smirked as he and his friends left. I then walked up to Colby who was on his knees looking at the floor. "Are you ok babe?" I asked him. Colby silently shook his head as he silently cried into his hands.

I then sat next to him and hugged him. I began saying sweet nothings as I rubbed his back. "Babe please tell me what happened?" I asked him. Colby then removed his hands as he looked up at me. "I-I decided to wait for you guys at our table so I was about to eat my lunch when Hazel told everyone that I'm sleeping with you so I can lose my virginity. She then told all the girls to keep an eye on their boyfriends because I might steal them. I was then called a slut," he sobbed.

"So I ran out here to take a few deep breaths and eat my lunch when Luke and his friends came. Luke took my sandwich and threw it on the floor and stepped on it. Luke and his friends then began kicking me all over."

"Oh babe," I said as I hugged him tightly. I suddenly heard footsteps so I looked up to see the gang. "Is he ok?" Tara asked. I nodded my head as Colby looked up at them. "Colby, what happened?" Elton asked. Colby then explained everything as he fiddled with his hoodie sleeves. I suddenly heard Colby's stomach growling. "Oh Colby, you're hungry," I told him. "I-it's ok, I can wait until after school," he softly replied while looking down. "No brother, it's not ok," Corey responded.

"Yeah bubba, you need to eat since Luke ruined your lunch," Jake added. "Come on, let's go get food and hang at my place," I said. Once we got our stuff, we went to our cars and drove to my house. On the way home, we all bought Chipotle. Once we got home, we all went to the living room and watched Netflix.

"How are you doing Colbs?" Devyn asked as Colby was now cuddled into me. "I-I'm ok. I just wish that I wasn't hated on," Colby softly replied. "Colby, you're not hated on," Tara said. "Yeah, Colby, we all love you," I replied as I held him close to me. "I-I know that and because of you guys I still smile but as soon as I'm in school, my smile gets shattered," Colby added.

"Colby, you're the light of the group," Tara said. "Yeah Colby, the group wouldn't be the same without you," Elton added. "You're our little ball of sunshine," I added as I ruffled his hair. Colby softly giggled as he looked at us. "Thanks, guys, for being my best friends," Colby replied with a smile on his face. "We wouldn't trade you for anything," Corey said.

Third Person POV:

Hours later, the gang left, leaving Sam and Colby alone in Sam's house. The two boys were cuddling when the front door opened. "Hey mom and dad," Sam greeted as Mr. and Mrs. Golbach entered the house. "Samuel, who's this?" Mr.Golbach asked as he saw Sam cuddling Colby.

"Mom, dad this is Colby, my boyfriend," Sam introduced. "So your gay?" Mr.Golbach asked. "No dad, I'm bi. Meaning I like both guys and girls," Sam explained. "Now I want you guys to treat Colby with respect," Sam told them. "Of course dear," Mrs.Golbach replied. "Hello Mr. and Mrs.Golbach, I'm Cole but I prefer Colby," Colby softly introduced himself. "Hello dear and please call me Cindy my husband here is named Kirk," Mrs. Golbach said.

"You guys aren't mad right?" Sam asked. "No Sam, we're not mad," Mr.Golbach replied. "Colby dear, why don't you stay for dinner?" Mrs.Golbach asked. "O-Ok I'll just ask my mom," Colby responded. Colby texted his mom who responded with a yes. "She said it's ok," Colby told them.

During dinner, Mr. and Mrs.Golbach were asking Colby questions about himself. So Colby explained his whole life story to them. Mr. and Mrs.Golbach told Colby that they would always be there for him when he needed them. Colby thanked them and stood up and place his utensils in the sink.

Once Colby and Sam were in Sam's room, Sam asked Colby if he could stay the night. Colby texted his mom who responded with a yes. Colby smiled as he told Sam that he could stay. Sam then told his parents who were ok with the idea. Sam had lent Colby some pj's and hours later they both fell asleep wrapped in each other's arms.
