Chapter 14

Colby's POV:

The rest of the day was great since Luke and Hazel and their friends were in the principal's office all day. I was at my locker getting my things to go home when suddenly I was slammed into my locker. I then turned to see Luke, Hazel, and their friends surrounding me. "So clumsy thought it was ok to snitch on us huh?" Hazel taunted as she glared at me. Luke then grabbed a fistful of my shirt as I fearfully looked at him.

"Get The Fuck Away From Him!" I then look to see Sam and the gang coming their way toward me. Luke then aggressively threw me onto the floor and I landed right on my stomach. I was then pulled to my feet by Sam and Elton. "Just you wait loser 'cause when we get back you're going to either regret coming to this school or being alive," Luke threatened as they walked away. I then whimpered in fear as a few tears slipped down my face.

The rest of the day Sam and the gang tried their best to cheer me up. It worked a little bit but I just kept thinking about Luke's threat. I was scared of what they were planning to do to me.

Time Skip

This week was the best week ever. For once, I actually felt kinda safe in school. Though Ava, Emma, Jack, and Leo all glared and shoved me here and there. Tomorrow Luke and Hazel return and I'm scared for my life.

Next Day

I was at my locker getting my things for first-period when suddenly I was spun around harshly. My eyes widened as I saw Luke and his friends surrounding me. "I'm back bitch," Luke smirked. I just softly whimpered in fear. "Take him to the bathroom," Luke demanded.

I was then dragged into the bathroom where I was thrown to the floor. "What do we do with him Luke?" Leo asked. "We'll just give him a good ol' beating," Luke responded. Jack and Leo laughed as Luke punched me in the face. I then groaned in pain as I felt blood coming out of my nose. Tears filled my eyes but I held them back.

I then shuffled backward when Luke grabbed a fistful of my hair and punched me right in my right eye. All three of them laughed it out as they grabbed me and beat me up. All I could do was hide behind my hands as I took every harsh hit, kick, and punch thrown at me.

Once Luke and his friends were done, I was left with an aching body. I then curled myself into a ball and silently sobbed. Suddenly the bathroom door opened and I instantly froze thinking it was Luke and his friends. "Colby what happened to you?" I then look up to see Jake and Corey looking at me. "I-I," was all I could say before I was cut off by a sob.

Third Person POV:

Corey then picked Colby up bridal style as he winced in pain. "Jake text Sam that Colby's hurt and that we're taking him to the nurse," Corey instructed. Jake did as he was told and immediately texted Sam. Both boys then rushed Colby to the nurse's office.

Moments later, Sam rushed into the nurse's office. "What happened?" he asked as he saw the nurse treating a beaten up Colby. "I don't know dude, Corey and I went to the bathroom and saw Colby all beaten up and curled up in a ball crying," Jake explained. "We tried asking him what happened but he said he wanted to wait for you," Corey added.

Sam then went up to Colby just as the nurse finished. "I need someone to stay with Cole," the nurse said. "He'll do it," Corey and Jake replied in unison while pointing to Sam. "Ok well, I'll be back to check in on Cole. I'm going to go notify your teachers as well as make some excuse passes," the nurse said as she left.

"So sunshine, what really happened?" Sam asked. Colby then took a deep breath and explained everything that happened in the bathroom earlier. Sam, Corey, and Jake were furious about what Luke did to poor Colby. "Ok, I'm back, and here are your passes," the nurse said while giving Jake and Corey their passes. "See you later Sam and Colby," the boys said in unison.

Time Skip

It was now lunchtime and Colby was on his way to the cafeteria with his packed lunch. As Colby entered the cafeteria, he was stopped by both Ava and Emma. "Hello clumsy," Hazel smirked. Colby's eyes were immediately filled with fear. "Hey, everyone, why don't we all have some fun with clumsy over here?" Hazel taunted.

"What kind of fun?" a jock asked. "Well come on out to the field and find out," Hazel replied with a smirk. Soon enough, Ava and Emma dragged poor Colby right on out to the field. Colby began to slightly shake in fear as he saw three buckets filled with balloons.

"Alright everyone," Hazel said as the entire school surrounded them. "Grab as many paint balloons as you can and throw them toward clumsy." Colby's eyes widened as he immediately covered his face the best he could as everyone grabbed balloons and began throwing them at him. "What The Fuck Are You Doing?!" immediately the balloons stopped as everyone turned to see Sam and the guys with pissed-off faces. Hazel, however, took that opportunity to take a picture of Colby who was now covered in paint.

Colby's POV:

"We're just having fun with clumsy over here," Hazel smirked. "What is wrong with you guys? What has Colby ever done to any of you?" Sam asked. "Him being here that's what!" a jock replied. "He might as well die at this point!" a cheerleader added.

I then couldn't take it anymore so I ran and grabbed my bag from my locker and ran all the way home. Once I got home, I then showered and scrubbed all the paint off my hair and body. Once I was done, I changed into my Koala onesie and went to grab a knife from the kitchen. I then ran to my room and sat on my bed. I was about to slit my left wrist again when "Colby No!"
