soo..... I got wundersmith and hollowpox today, and just finished Wundersmith, its abt 1 in the morning.
I love the second book, lots of plot twists, I mean, first off, Dearborn and murgatroyd being of the same body is crazy, Henry betraying mog, even though he was her favorite teacher, professor onstald giving his life to help mog, Hawthorne, cadence and lam escape was crazy.
Squall POSSESSING HAWTHORNE AND MAKING HIM JUMP OFF THE ROOF OF THE HOTEL!! The blackmailing being part of a hidden fifth trial, lam being a princess and being from the Republic (far east sang) like Morrigan, though Mog was from jackalfax.
The Charlton five, the ghastly market, tricksy lanes, the sad scene in the museum of stolen moments where Angel Israfael sings for everyone dying so it can be the best moment of their lives.
The living map. Miss cheery and her biscuit standards. Mog and cadence stealing a magnificub, alfie, and the whole thing of Mog BREATHING FIRE AND BEING A FREAKING DRAGON!! I just am writing this bc I can't sleep at all, I'm kept awake by the way things are clicking.
Also the mad chills in the scene where squall and Morrigan meet in the museum of stolen moments for the first time. Just the image of him shouting when he is normally calm and collected is terrifying.
All in all, great book, read cover to cover within the day, and now I can't wait to read hollowpox.
