I woke up in absolute agony. I felt as if I was literally on fire. My back was seized up and my joints were inflamed. I had a banging headache and my mouth was intently dry. My vision was all hazed;colors and shapes were distorted and blurred into one unidentifiable shape.

Somehow, despite all that pain and discomfort, I still managed to get up and stumble my way to my Utility Room and to the discrete medicine cabinet I had fixed onto the side of one of the walls.

Once I opened it up, I realized that with my current state of vision, I couldn't read any of the labels. I wasn't going to risk overdoes so I just felt around with my hands untill I came across a bottle that was seemingly shapes like that of a bottle of eyes-drops.

I took the bottle and squeezed two drops into each of my eyes. Instantly, a wave of relief washed over my sore, blazing eyes and I let out a sighof pleasure as some of my pain and discomfort was relieved.

As I look down with my returned vision, I read the label on the bottle:

'Formalin and water mixture'

"Ahhh. SHIT!'

Take Two

'Eye drops'

A/N Idk what eyes drops are made out of and I can't be bothered looking up the formula and simplifying it for people.

"Phew" I exclaim quietly, glad my assumption of eye-drops was correct and not something like Formalin.

My attention was hastily brought back to my current situation as my back's raging pain increases in intensity by an extraordinary amount.

I grabbed some painkillers and swallowed them without any water.

I grabbed some more pills blindly and staggered over to the kitchen.

I grab the first cup that is available to me and fill it with tap water. I gulp the cold, soothing, refreshing water and refill the cup twice more until I set it on the counter and head over into my living room.

Once in my living room, I swallow every pill I had in my hands in one gulp. Soon after, my headaches and pains die down, however, I am still in complete agony.

I collapse into the warm embrace of my huge leather couch.

It is a browny-red color. It reminds me of partially oxodized blood.

I pass out from exhaustion and sheer pain
