After making a few phone calls and gathering some information, I get in my car and start the engine. I turn the key and pull a few leavers. I press two bright buttons and then the car takes of to the purple skies that have orange swirls. Bright blue clouds dot the sky.The destination is automatically selected due to to my new updated car schedule.

(Time skip about 23 minutes of futuristic boring car journey)

As we approach my destination, my car begins the gradual descent to the ground parking. The car soon comes to a complete stop. I turn the key to stop the engine and remove the key. I slip the key into my back pocket and open the folding door of my car. I step out of the luxurious auto-mobile.

As my feet collide with the crunchy gravel, a loud crumbling noise is emitted. My ears twitch at the noise. It soothes my greatly, boosting my confidence about the possible encounter with a Human, even if it is just once-sided interaction.

I gaze up at the massive institution, feeling intimidated by it's sheer size. The brand-new looking building looms over the street, casting an immense shadow below. All light is blotted out by it's presence.

I take a deep breath and make my way towards the menacing building.

As I arrive at the door, I push it open, requiring a lot of force. I am greeted by a lovely, clean, sterile-looking reception room. Several signs line the wall, telling which department is in which direction. A ginat counter resides at the enter of the back wall. A yellow Audraxian occupies the large space behind the desk. A couple of computers rest on the desk and a large pot of stationary remains in-reach of the Female.

I approach the front-desk and wait in the one-person queue.

(Time skip)

I follow closely behind the employee that is guiding the group of people I am associated with. We pass countless doors and endless corridors until we finally come to a stop in front of a large metal seamless door.

The guide opens the door with a retina-scanner and voice recognition code. A faint noise  comes from the door and it slowly opens with an exaggerated procedure. a slight mist settles around the floor of the door.

The guide says a few things in a forced-cheerful tone. I don't pay much attention to what she says and instead, I soak up the environment.

An extremely long hallway stretches for at least 20 miles straight. The walls are a shining-white color and the material is texture-less. There is signs categorizing the contents of the cages that line the wall. The categories vary from 'guard' which,  according to the guide, consists of the overly aggressive and durable Humans, to the 'visual' ones, which are the supposed, 'best looking of the species of Humans and their sub-races.'

I am personally looking for an average pet, preferably with a higher-than-average intelligence and a more stoic personality. I am looking for a companion, not a nuisance and another chore. If they are more stoic, they most likely won't react as violently and aggressively as I have read that Humans react. If they are more intelligent than most Humans, well, at least above average, they will be more competent and I won't have to maintain them as much. Also, if they are more of the regular type of pet than say for example, a guard, they will be more predictable as the majority of Humans behave the same, especially to their own category of Human.

The first Category of Human is the Infants.

"These Humans are more of a miscellaneous category because Humans don't develop a individual personality, at least not a noticeable one, until they reach the age of about 5. The personality traits vary as they grow up but become more finalized once they reach adolescence." The guide states in their fake happy tone. "They require more work, attention and have more needs overall than older Humans. They can be quite adorable at times but  'scream' more than any other type of Human." The guide continues as we walk at a slower pace so that the guide can fit in their boring yet interesting monologue.
