After the case, Atsushi, Dazai, Ranpo and I, were asking back to the agency, and the sun was already setting.
I was walking besides Dazai, Atsushi was on the other side, and Ranpo was in front.
Dazai and Atsushi were talking about how fast that case had got solved. I stayed quiet not wanting to interrupt there conversation. I was staring off into space.
"What Ranpo did back there was amazing!" Atsushi said
"Yes, but I might've figured out half of it too." Dazai replied
'I figured.'
"I pretty much figured it out how Ranpo figured it out." Dazai finished
"Well maybe but- he said his ability let's him figure out things almost Instantly." I mumbled
"Oh right I forgot, you don't know about him yet."
"Don't wanna either.."
"See the truth is, ranpo isn't gifted with special powers." Dazai said
"Huh-" Atsushi and I said at the same time
"Well yeah, Ranpo is a rare breed, despite appearances, he's an un gifted member of the crime fighting team of the armed detective agency. He himself seems to think he's using an ability, but he's not. And even thought he's childish, he's 26 years old-"
"There is no way he's actually that old.." I said to myself.
"The reason why everyone in the agency respects Ranpo is because they know his 'ultra deduction' isn't an ability. I had heard about it but today is the first time I witnessed him in action." He continued "and here is a secret, I put it to the test! As he was using his ultra deduction ability today, I was secretly pinching his hair behind him. As you may or may not know, my unique lower is to Nutrialize anyone even if I touch them. And I'm anti-gifted. No gifted person can use their ability whenever I make physical touch with them. No matter how strong there powers are," He finished.
"So what you're saying is he's just a regular person?" Atsushi asked
"That's right!" Dazai said
"Hm. I guess Ranpo's 'deduction is useful.. And I guess Dazai's power is pretty cool to." I had thought aloud
"You think my power is cool
Y/N-Chaannn?" He asked as he quickly held my hands.
"Should I take back what I said?" I asked
"Oh my- you're to much! Complimenting me! I have to say, I am flattered!" He said waving his arms almost every where.
Atsushi laughed
"Oh! I almost forgot- what about that date you promised me?" Dazai asked
"What? What date?" I asked him
"Remember when I called you last time-" he said
.. Huh?
-flash back-
I then heard my phone buzzing. I looked over at the desk that was beside me.
'Unknown number?'
I declined it.
And they called again.
"..."
I picked up my phone and answered.
"Hey Y/NNNNN how are you feeling?" I heard them say.
