Warning: due to the nature of the game our protagonists are in, there will be some dark themes here and there, but also some good moments to balance the vibes out. Also, mild swearing at the start.

Darkness was all RG could see.
Her breathing was slow, her eyelids heavy.

Hey wait, this feels awfully familiar. The only difference is that her eyes are closed. "Ungh..." RG let out a groan as she felt the ground beneath her. It felt like concrete: rocky, and a little wet?

"RG! RG! Wake up!" Cuphead's voice rang out. RG winced, a sharp stinging feeling in her hand. She hissed, as that pain wasn't there before. "easy, kiddo." Sans' voice echoed in her ears. RG felt someone grab her arms and lift her onto her feet. "I got ya, doll." Bendy's voice assured her mind.
Finally, RG made an attempt to open her eyes. Her head began to ache, and the light hurt her eyes. She winced in distress, but she managed to get her eyes open. Right in her face was a strange young boy around 12. His eyes were black, and his hair was milky white, with a red striped cap on his head. Oddly enough, his clothes were similar to that of Cuphead's...
"Wha...?" RG mumbled. "you ok, kid?" RG's eyes slowly glanced over to her friend's voice. A fairly short guy with light blue eyes stood to the side, concern written all over his face. He had the same outfit Sans did, with pale skin to cover up those bones. "Wait huh...?" RG tried processing what was going on, but that was when she noticed black-sleeved arms wrapped around her own arms, holding her up like a toy.
"Take it easy, doll. You look like you landed pretty badly there!" RG couldn't help but squirm upon hearing Bendy. "Put me down, dummy..!" RG weakly cried out. She was placed on the ground gently, and there she finally got a good look at who was holding her. This guy looked more like a cartoon character, with his skin as white as snow, eyes as black as ink, and demon horns adorning his combination of messy and spiky hair. He also wore a suit, which was pretty fancy. RG made a face of utter confusion.
"Wait... Cuphead?" RG called, looking back at the kid in front of her. "Yeah?" Cuphead responded. RG's irises shrunk as she glanced at the short chunky guy. "Sans?" RG questioned. "heya." Sans replied with a wave. RG then looked at the humanoid demon behind her. "Bendy?" RG questioned yet again. Bendy gave her a devious smirk. "The one and only!" The demon chirped. RG's breathing became very imbalanced as she crawled to her feet, her legs only slightly wobbling. "WHAT THE FUCK?!" RG exclaimed. "whoa there kid, i know we look weird, but that's a bit of an overreaction to our current predicament." Sans said. "You're not so special yourself, doll! Take a look in the mirror." Bendy pointed out. "What??" RG questioned. Cuphead showed RG to a convenient water fountain. RG looked... cuter, you'd suppose. It was as she'd always imagined herself in an anime style; her hair colour being fairly brighter than usual. With a heavy inhale, RG's face turned strawberry red as she screamed,

"HOLY FUCK, WE'RE ANIME!!!"

RG hyperventilated, her mind completely overwhelmed with the current events. Cuphead stood on the fountain's ledge rubbing the poor girl's back, while Bendy just laughed at RG's reaction, and Sans tried talking to RG to calm her down. After a while, RG finally settled down and started breathing fairly slow. "Ok, I've calmed down now." RG assured. "That's good!" Cuphead replied. Sans looked at his surroundings. "uhh, kid, do you happen to know what world we've ended up in?" Sans asked. "Hmm... let's see..." RG also took a look around. There was something familiar about this school they've landed in front of.
Because RG knew of quite a few games with an anime artstyle, it was hard to pinpoint which game they were currently in. Her only options were Yandere Simulator, or Doki Doki Literature Club. Now, the group were still wearing their regular every day outfits, which made things a bit more difficult to figure out. Just as RG was giving up hope, she suddenly heard the familiar voice of...

"Oh, hello there!"

The group turned around to face a young high school girl with long, coral brown hair and a white ribbon keeping her hair in a ponytail. Her emerald green eyes displayed enthusiasm and confidence. "Are you new around here?" Monika asked, a smile imprinted on her face. RG felt her heart both explode and sink. What an interesting combo. "Uhh, I guess?" Cuphead answered, sounding a bit unsure. "Well, in that case, it's a pleasure to meet you all! My name is Monika." Monika introduced herself. RG had a feeling that Monika knew of their arrival, but it still slightly felt uncanny to her. Maybe the idea of self-aware AI had always seemed scary.
"The name's Cu-" RG elbowed Cuphead. "Ow!" Cuphead yelped. Monika let out a giggle, then titled her head. "Your name is 'Cow'?" Monika asked. "No! She just interrupted me!" Cuphead defended himself. Monika laughed once again. "Oh silly, I already know who you are, Cuphead." Monika said. Cuphead flinched in surprise. "Eh? Where you expecting us?" Cuphead questioned. The girl shook her head. "No, I just felt your presence here." Monika vaguely answered. "that's totally not ominous." Sans casually stated. "Yeah... do you know all our names, Monika?" Bendy questioned.
"Well of course I do, Bendy. I immediately know the names of everyone that comes here, ehehe~" Monika confirmed. She then turned to RG. "Oddly enough, I don't quite know your name." Monika said. "O-oh, I go by RG." RG responded. Monika gave RG a warm smile. "It's nice to meet you, RG!" Monika chirped. RG could swear she felt her cheeks burn and she tugged at the collar of her shirt. "Erm, nice to meet ya too." RG replied. Monika then took a small step back and analyzed the group. "Hmm... you might need to blend in." Monika pointed out. "Oh, right." RG realized that the group seemed very out of place, despite all of them being turned into anime. "Alright, we're gonna have to come up with a plan." RG told them. She took her pals out of hearing range.
