Warning: this is a continuation of Chapter 6: Candy Hearts. So obviously, everything is NOT oki doki here! Proceed with caution.
Meanwhile, in the Literature Club, the club was settling down with a nice tea party. RG wasn't a big fan of tea, but Bendy seemed pretty happy to taste something that wasn't made of ink for once. Natsuki was caught off guard when Monika arrived with two others, so she obviously didn't have any cupcakes ready, which put her in a sour mood. Yuri, on the other hand, was curious about the strange boy that Monika brought in. In fact, everyone (excluding Monika) kept asking questions and RG had to privately tell Bendy to lie as much as he could (even though he didn't understand anything the girls were asking him).
After all that, Sayori popped the question. "Will you join the club?" Sayori asked. RG tensed up. She saw this question coming, but she figured there was no harm in joining. After all, she did dabble a bit in writing, so maybe she could show off her meager attempts at poetry. Of course, Bendy answered for the both of them. "Yes! Erm, if RG wants to, that is." Bendy said. RG glanced at her demon friend, then smiled a bit. "Sure. I think it'll be fun." RG confirmed. Sayori made a small squeak of joy, and she hugged RG. "Yay! I'm so glad you're joining!" Sayori cheered. Monika giggled at Sayori's enthusiasm. RG felt her face warm up again and she hugged Sayori. Yuri let out a sigh of relief, and Natsuki seemed to relax. "Well then, as the Club President, I welcome you to the Literature Club!" Monika said. Bendy smiled brightly. RG smiled a little wider, but a feeling of uneasiness lurked in the back of her mind. A feeling that would not let up for a good while.

After Monika announced about the festival, it was time to go home and write poems. RG took her demon pal (and their clothes), and they went outside to wait for their friends. While they waited, RG decided to ask Bendy a question. "Hey Bendy, why do you call me 'doll'?" RG asked. Bendy smirked and looked over to RG. "Because you're as fragile as a porcelain doll." Bendy answered bluntly. RG's face turned strawberry red. "HEY WAIT A DAMN MINUTE!" RG shouted. She poked at Bendy's horn. "I'm not THAT fragile!" RG remarked. "Then why is it you needed Sans and Cuphead to come save ya from Alice?" Bendy questioned, his smile as smug as ever. RG huffed. "W-well, there's only so much I can do strapped to a surgical table!" RG argued. "You could've fought back before Alice tied you up. You were pretty fast when I was chasing you~" Bendy reminded her. "And that was exhausting, Bendy! I barely had energy left when I got into the Miracle Station!" RG pointed out. "See what I mean, doll?" Bendy questioned. RG huffed again, an annoyed expression apparent on her face.
"Hey!" RG and Bendy turned to face the owner of that voice. Cuphead ran up to them, Sans slowly trailing behind. "Heya Cuphead, hey Sans." RG said. "heya kiddo." Sans replied. "We found a place to stay!" Cuphead announced. "Oh really?" Bendy questioned. "yeah, it's a pretty nice place. and it's close to the school, so you guys can just walk and take your time." Sans said. "Ooh, that is nice." RG commented. "C'mon! The house already has rooms for us!" Cuphead chirped. Cuphead skipped away, the other three following behind. "Did you guys decorate stuff already?" RG asked. "nope. the house had rooms custom made for us already." Sans answered. "That's totally not weird at all!" Bendy commented. "My room better not be boring." RG joked. "heheh, you'll have to see for yourself." Sans said. "Alrighty then." RG replied. The group arrived at their temporary home and they went inside. Cuphead was eager to show Bendy and RG their rooms, while Sans immediately plopped onto the couch and fell asleep. The three went upstairs and they reviewed each others' rooms. RG... was slightly disappointed open seeing how empty her room was. A closet had clean copies of her school uniform, and there was a desk for writing, and a nice bed, but that was all. Maybe it was just RG self-projecting, but the room felt as plain as her. Ah well, it wasn't like she was going to stay there forever. She'd just have to put up with it. As RG lied down in bed, staring at her light purple ceiling, she heard a knock on the door. "Come in!" RG called. The door opened and Bendy walked into the room. "Hey, RG? Can I ask ya something?" Bendy asked. "Sure, what's up?" RG replied. Bendy scratched the back of his head and looked to the side. "Uhm... it's about the poem assignment Monika gave us." Bendy began. "Oh? What about it?" RG questioned. A tiny bit of grey dusted his cheeks. "I have no idea how to write a poem. I can read and write just fine, but... I've only ever seen lyrics to my songs. I have no idea what a poem even is." Bendy explained. RG smirked and sat up. "So you're asking for help, eh?" RG said. "If you tell a single soul, I'm drop-kicking that ass." Bendy threatened. RG chuckled to herself. "Alright, let's go sit at the desk." RG instructed.
