Chapter 12 (Mike)

When Will leaves El looks at me. The look she used to give me before she moved when she wanted to kiss me. She leans in and starts kissing me. It doesn't feel like she's kissing me though, It's like will is. One thing leads to another and we start making out. But to me, I'm making out with her brother.
"Sorry for intruding, I guess." I hear a voice say and there's Will, the boy I wish to one day kiss, watching me kiss his sister. I look at El and when I look back Will is in a trance I look back at El.
"Eleven, what's happening?"
"001! Quick, Mike get me a blindfold from my room please i need to get Henry once and for all.  
I go to Els' room and I find the blindfold sitting on her dresser and bring it to her.
"Here!"
El sits down and puts on the blindfold.
"Oh shit!" I exclaim as  I see Will lifting up into the air, I know what happens next. I feel tears building up in my eyes, I can't lose him, not yet!
"El! Hurry up! He is going to die." I scream as El tries to get into his mind.
"El? Do you see anything?"
"Yes, I see two boys on a swing set." She replies. I'm crying even more now.
" Where we first met". I fell to my knees. All of sudden his bones start to break. I look for his cassette with his favorite songs and I put it in his cassette player and put it on him. We don't have much time left, I put the headphones on him and he snaps out of his trance and falls to the floor.
"Mike!" will yells. I run over to him and hug him the tightest I've ever hugged anyone.
"I thought I would lose you, I can't lose you! What can I do? Do you need anything?"
"Yeah I do."
"Okay what is it?"  And that's when he kissed me. Will Byers kissed me. It was better than I ever
could have dreamed of. It was short but amazing. I look at him, he looks like he regrets what he did.
"Will-"
"No Mike, I'm so sorry I shouldn't have done that, why did I do that?."
"No Will, I'm glad you did that."
"Really?"
"Does this answer your question?" I say as I lean in to kiss him.  I don't want to stop and i can tell he doesn't want it to either,
"You have no idea how long I have wanted to do that." Will says, smiling like he hadn't just been cursed by Vecna.
"Me too." Everything is perfect, but just for a couple seconds, and then I remember, Eleven has been watching us the whole time. I feel so bad.
"Mike" El whispered
"El-" I started
"Forget it Mike, we are done. I dump your ass. Again." (Gaslight gatekeep girlboss moment right there.)At that moment she ran away. I wanted to run after her but I couldn't, Will was here and injured and he needed me.
