Today is the first day of school today, I'm not sure how to feel about it though. I was excited but now the anxiety is kicking in at the worst possible time, like always. I'm meeting Dustin, Lucas and El at the front door and they are gonna show me around and stuff so I don't get lost (but let's be honest, I am most likely going to get lost anyway).
I walk in and I find my first class and it's full, the board says "sit anywhere!" but there's only one free seat, Beside Michel Wheeler. It sort of looked like he saved the seat but why would he? As I sit beside him he smiles and says "Hey Will!" in his nice gentle voice, god I love his voice.
"Hey Mike, how are you?"
"Better now that you're here!"
"This is Mrs. Godards class right?"
"Yeah it is, have you found your locker yet?"
"No, I will do it at lunch though."
All of a sudden Mrs. Godard walks in and writes something on the board.It reads: Mrs.Godards history class. Then she turns around and says "welcome back to grade 9 history class if you do not know my name is Mrs. Godard, take a look at where you are sitting because these will be your seats until the end of the year." I look over at Mike when she says that, he smiled even more, like he was happy that he's sitting next to me for the next couple months.
