George doesn't remember falling asleep but he woke up to Karl in the morning. He took his routine bath and got dressed in a simple outfit. Tomorrow, the royal family, diplomats, and some nobles from the neighboring kingdom would be coming here for some kind of ball. The castle was busy with all of the servants running around like worker bees fixing up every room and making perfect everything they could.

George wanted to stay out of the way so after his breakfast, he snuck out without the watchful gaze of his supposed protector and headed to he garden. He hadn't brought his lyre this time. He'd rather just sit in the shade of the willow and enjoy the outdoors. He sat on the edge of the pond with his shoes next to him and feet in the water. Briefly, he was at peace. He sighed in contentment. It was warm and sunny and the water was cool. For the first time in a bit, he was enjoying himself. He laid his body on the soft clovers beneath himself they cradled his body and made him relax further.

Suddenly, from nowhere, a giant dog came barreling towards the Prince. At a great, seemingly out of control speed. The dog got incredibly close to George's face and licked him with large amounts of slobber. George laughed at the beast's actions. He sat up and wiped his face before he scratched the dogs back and looked at his leather collar in an attempt to find a license. He found nothing. The nameless dog kept trying to get George to play with him.

"What are you doing out here?" George asked rhetorically. Upon closer inspection this looks like the dog Dream was playing with a short while ago. "Do you belong to Clay?" He wondered aloud.

The dog barked and spun around in a few circles before running off again. George wasn't sure what to make of the situation, but he didn't have much time to consider it when a few moments later, the dog returned with a thick stick in his mouth to drop at George's side.

"You really want to play." George sighed and heaved his body from the ground and picked the stick off the grass. The dog looked ecstatic. He barked loudly and George reeled his arm back and threw the stick as far as he could. At lighting speed, the dog took off and chased after it. George laughed a little to himself.

So what if Dream didn't want to speak with him? His dog was more than enough. The dog returned and George threw the stick again and again. Until he almost collapsed from near exhaustion. His arm was sore and he needed to sit down. The dog kept nudging the stick to his hand and even went so far as to drop it into his lap.

"I'm so tired bud." He breathed heavily. He wasn't out of shape in the slightest, this dog was just incredibly high energy. The dog sat down and tilted his head at the Prince wondering why the fun had stopped. George dropped the stick next to his shoes and sighed. The dog whined at him and darted to grab the stick, but grabbed one of the Princes shoes. George gasped, he knew these shoes were expensive and his mother might just kill him if he let this dog ruin them. If she found out.

"N-no!" George yelled and tried to grab the object from the dog's mouth, but the animal was far too fast, "no! No! Dog please!" George laughed and stood up to chase after the dog. He seemed to love to be chased more than fetching the stick. The dog barked at George though it was muffled from the shoe. "Please I'm not kidding I need that!" They ran around the garden George laughing and always just missing the dog by a hair.

Finally, George had gotten ahold of the shoe and the game of chase turned into a game of tug-of-war. Now George wasn't weak in any sense of the word, but holy crap this dog was heavy and it had a jaw strength of a lion. He could not for the life of him get his shoe back.

"Drop it!" George yelled laughing while still struggling. "I'm telling Dream!" He giggled. "Naughty boy."

He tried to pull his shoe as hard as he could the dog growled playfully.
