The rain poured furiously as Fundy briskly walked to the shed that held the bags upon bags of birdseed along with other animal necessities the castle uses on a daily basis. He was going to fill the bird's troughs for feeding; as this was something he forgot to do all day. Currently it was the middle of the night and he was scrambling to get things ready for tomorrow. Although, he knew he wouldn't get into trouble for accidentally neglecting his duties. Both King Nick and King George liked him far too much for that.

Truthfully, he was punishing himself way more then the kings ever would.

A dreary sigh left his lips as he expertly hoisted the heavy bag over his head and rested it on his shoulder. The mud shifted slightly under the weight of his shoes as he walked out of the shed and headed back to the coops to prepare everything for tomorrow (or later today depending on how you look at it).

When he got inside, the first thing he noticed was a tall dark figure standing in the middle of the room. Sopping wet, and creating a puddle where he stood.

The man was of large stature. There was something menacing and foreboding about the way he carried himself. He had slung on his shoulder a drawstring bag tied in a lose knot that Fundy couldn't discern the contents of.

Fundy felt himself become defensive. "Excuse me," He asked harshly "can I help you?"

As Fundy stepped closer and the figure before him came into view he saw his profile clearly for the first time. His face was illuminated by Fundy's lantern with familiarity. He recognized this man. Someone he hadn't seen in years. His jaw dropped open and the bag of seed carelessly fell off his shoulder and split open upon impact with the ground. Birdseed was everywhere now.

Fundy didn't even acknowledge the mess he just made. He was too shocked. His voice quivered as he spoke "Oh gods, it's you-"
