"You...This is all because of you!"
"Me?" The distinguished man with his head hung low shook with fury, eyes enraged in pure hatred and hurt aimed towards the woman in front of him. "It was you who sold me out, you bitch."
The woman's battered body laid on the blood-washed floor of the now decrepit building. Her gaze was fixed on the man in shock, disdain and terror painting her once delicate features.
The man traipsed his way over to the body of the last surviving soul throughout the building before aiming his gun at the woman's left temple. His already arthritic fingers wrapped around the weapon, itching to feed it its sweet release.
"You don't have the balls, Moriarty," the woman prayed that she were correct in her assumption as her nerves reached an all time high.
"People change. You'd know a thing or two about that, wouldn't you, now?" A crazed grin spread its way across the wrinkled features of the madman, enough to make hell freeze over. "And all because you thought you had me wrapped around your fucking fingers."
"Don't do this, David, I'm warning you-"

Levi's POV
"It must suck having your dad and your memory missing in action at the same time."
"Don't make accusations, Levi, he's clearly just as in the dark as everyone else."
Erwin Smith. If it weren't for his classic parental lectures and innate optimism on just about every individual's behalf, cadets wouldn't feel the need to walk on eggshells all the time. They would also be dead, but they wouldn't walk on eggshells all the time. Erwin hasn't spent enough time in the shit holes of society to walk the walk of someone who distrusts every face he sees.
But would I wish that upon him? No. Erwin was the one who emancipated me from those same shit holes I used to call home.
His natural instinct and silver tongue possess the power to make even sheep want to see him win and want to win with him. It may have been against my better judgement back in the day joining the Scout Regiment, not like I had much say in the matter. I still wouldn't change a thing.
And if Eyebrows is seriously taking a leap of faith on this little freak behind bars all because of an unexplained titan occurrence, he has even me at his disposal.
I'm quite interested in this phenomenon, to be honest, as we've never had record of a human morphing into a titan or vice versa. But it's clear our knowledge is just as it was two days ago because this kid doesn't even know how he did it. The only chance at figuring any of this out would be to take the chance on his absent father in hopes he left some conviction behind in their basement. Clearly there's more to this story, that I don't have the patience to listen to at the moment.
"What is it you wanna do?" I press, growing more impatient from the 'I don't know's and the 'mommy, I'm scared's.
I did nothing to expect any type of alternate reaction from the kid, until he snapped his head up and stared us dead in the faces for the first time this entire questioning.
