Haruchiyo's POV

"Did you had an argument with Rindou?" I asked but he just shook his head while still enjoying my embrace

"Why don't we go in my apartment instead of staying here outside?" I asked

He finally looked up to glanced on me

"Why don't you kiss me instead?" He flirtily said as i quickly slapped him

"I'll leave now"

"wait wait wait I'm just kidding!" He retorted, clinging on my waist again

I stay still and crossing my arms while he keep on hugging me

Should i take an absent on my work again?

No, i skipped work yesterday. I should go later, even if I'm late

I sighed as i shoved his hands away

"Excuse, you're blocking my way" I said as he stood up from sitting at the stairs

I went up the stairs and he immediately followed me

I opened the door for him and unlocked it. I was concerned that if someone saw us outdoors, what else might they think? I don't want that to occur once more.

I let him to sit on the couch, and as soon as the cat noticed him, he purred.

I removed my bag and sat beside him

"So? what happened?" I asked again 'cause I'm still worried from the way he look awhile ago still

He didn't noticed my words. He just continued on petting the cat on his lap but his smile already faded

I know from his actions, He's hesitating to tell me the whole story

"Alright then, I'll get going now. Feel free to do whatever you want, i need to work" I retorted as i grabbed my bag

But he immediately grabbed my wrist

"Stay here, please?"

I stare at him for few seconds

you want me to stay here but you can't even say what the problem is

"I need you..."

Those words made my eyes widened as i also noticed that his voice feels like about to break

I averts my gaze and gently let go from his grip

"I-I'll just inform my Boss first" I said, leaving him at the couch

I entered my room and as soon as i closed the door, i quickly leaned my back against the wall and covered my heating face

F*ck, Why am i blushing? It's just a simple words...

He just need some comfort...

I slapped my both cheeks and shook my head

I stood up and grabbed my phone and do what I really aim for

"Hello? Manager, I'm sorry but I don't think I can go to work again today" I said politely

"Again? You were just absent yesterday, and now-"

"Yes sir, I know and I'm really sorry. You can just deduct that from my salary" I replied even tho i know it'll be hard for me to save money for daily needs

"Fine, if this continue, just tell me directly if you want to resign" He replied before hanging up

I sighed as i placed my phone back to my pocket
