"I just seems unbothered but the truth is i don't want you to worry about me anymore"

"Break up with him." Cold tone of my father's voice still lingering in my head as i lay down on my bed and continue staring at the ceiling

He wants me to break up with him or else, he'll order someone to kill him

And i don't want that to happen

"I want your reasons Haitani!" He yelled, showing me that mad face of him but i have no choice but to act like i never care at all

He have no good relationship with his brother. He was neglected and from the moment i came into his life, i ruined the smile he always wear

The smile that hides a traumatic past he has

I run away even tho i want to help him from falling on the ground. I want to say sorry but i chose to escape

I chose to be a coward even tho when it comes to my brother, I'm always the one who's bossy and demanding

I thought from breaking up with him, everything will be fine. We were just going to move on from our life forget whatever we've done with each other

But i was wrong...

"She's Scarlett Carter, she's a half-american" my Mom introduced a girl with blonde hair and average height. Smiling at me and seems innocent

It was family reunion, a friend of her cousin came and i don't even know why are they welcome here

Including her daughter

"Let me introduce my eldest son that will soon to be your husband, Ran Haitani stand up"

I was stunned by those words that even Rindou looked at me with those eyes

"Husband?" Rindou repeated

My mom give me a sign to stood up which i actually did

I saw Scarlett smiling at where I'm standing

"You're welcome here anytime" i heard my father uttered, smiling sweetly in front of her

"What's going on?" Rindou asked who's sitting beside me

"But Dad you didn't even inform me about this!" I retorted

Only to received a smile as their eyes laid on me

"Considering it as a surprise Ran" he uttered

"Surprise? No way" i said before leaving the dining hall

Rindou tried to follow me but he was interrupted for unknown reason since i didn't turn around to look at him anymore

I went on the garden and tried to contact Haru but when his voice repeated in my head, there's something inside me that stopped me from doing what i was planning to do

I sighed, not knowing what to do in my situation

"Hi, seems problematic huh" i heard someone's voice from behind

There, i saw Scarlett standing with her hands behind her.

I didn't reply to her words and just continue staring at my phone. Thinking if i should call him or not

"Ya'know what, i dislike this arranged marriage too" i heard her added, standing beside me as she looked up and watched those stars on the sky

"But i like to see my parents happy so... Why not?" She added with a smile on her face
