Ran's POV

Scarlett Carter admitted her own crime of attempted murder and now end up in jail. Unexpectedly, she surrender on her own.

Her Mom was crying and due to what we felt, Rindou and I only standing in distance watching her getting comfort from our parents

"I feel bad for her parents..." Rindou mumbled

I stay silent as the only thing i thought right now is visiting Haru at the hospital

"We're done here. I want to see him" i said, leaving them to go to my car

Before i even drove off, Rindou arrived and opened the car door beside the driver seat

"I'll go with you, of course" he uttered

I didn't give him a response anymore and starts driving

During the whole ride, none of us tried to talk

Even if she's already in jail, it's still annoying. If Haru's not fine, i won't accept it.

Time had passed as we arrived in his hospital room

We also bought foods for Senju, Koko and Inui who're staying with Haru.

I opened the door and revealed the three having a conversation together

However, Haru's still sleeping

"How is he?" I asked, walking closer to his bed

"The doctor said he's fine, he probably just sleeping" Inui replied

I saw his younger sister staring at me while standing on the other side of the bed

"I ... Brought foods by the way" i said awkwardly

Rindou stay quiet, just sitting at the couch right beside the wall, near at the corner

I don't know how to start a conversation. After all, it was all my fault to bring him in this mess.

"You're my brother's ex?" I suddenly heard Senju's voice

As i laid my eyes on her, she looks intimidating

"Yeah... I'm sorry for bringing your brother into this..." I replied

Inui and Koko probably noticed the awkward atmosphere between the both of us that they decided to sit beside Rindou instead

"It's not that... I want to know what happened that night" she uttered

I looked confused for a moment, tho i remember what she was talking about

If i wasn't wrong, she maybe talking about the night where i saw his brother again

"A-ah... Well, we just drink together ya'know and... Not for kids"

"I am not a kid." She claimed as her gaze sharpened

Damn, this girl really gives me his brother's vibe

"Alright, but you know what I'm talking about, right?-"

"Did he gave you the consent?"

I was silent by those words

It was awkward and the more i remember that night, i regret it all

"N-no..." I admitted

I missed him so much that i want to enjoy that night with him. I missed his presence, his touch, his embrace, his existence. I missed everything about him but unfortunately, i rush of leaving him in the morning that i only end up leavinh money in case that he needs it.
