Ran's POV

"Thank you for trusting me for this case Mr. Ran Haitani" a man in front of me uttered as he offer me a hand for a handshake

"It's my pleasure to meet you, i hope we win this case" i replied, forming a smile in front of him

i file a case against them to end this arrangement before we even getting married.

As long as I'm not late, there's still hope

"It'll be easier for us to win Sir. After all, you have the rights to complain before the wedding happen" he replied

He give me some documents that i can show to my parents later. I also requested to Rindou to announced that i will go to their place later.

Even if i start a commotion in my family, i don't care anymore

Although, it was hard to look for a lawyer but luckily, we finally found the one who can help me.

It's already evening, when he finally left my house. I got ready to leave and grabbed my car keys

"stay here, be good, ok?" I reminded to Riku who's watching me until now

"Brother, i already informed them" Rindou uttered, coming towards me

"Where's Scarlett?" I asked

"huh? I don't know, I last saw her yesterday at night, I just don't know where she is now and she still hasn't shown up" he explained

It's suspicious, it was yesterday at night as well when i saw her. Is she planning something as well?

"tch, ignore her. Let's just end this already" I said, approaching my car as Rindou followed me

Haruchiyo's POV

I was looking outside my window. Admiring the scenery when i felt someone opened the door

I expect it was Senju 'cause she left awhile ago, saying she's just going to buy something

But then, when i turn to look at it. I saw Ran's fiancee, standing in front of the door

"Scarlett? What are you doing here?" I asked.

i began feeling nervous when i noticed that she's hiding her hands behind her back

"What are you..." i stopped when i heard the door locked

Tch, I'm peacefully resting here. What the hell is she planning to do?

"i knew it, i will found you here" she mumbled

"and so? it's already late, you're wasting a moment just to meet me here with that idiotic thoughts of yours" I retorted

I was sitting on my bed when she slowly approached me along with her hands, gently grabbing something on her purse

As she walk closer, i knew something feels off

I secretly grip on my pillow that i used to support my waist 'cause i was sitting on my bed

"If you're planning to kill me right now, that won't do anything good. Ran will dislike you more" i said, gently pulling the pillow behind me
