This morning, Hosun wanted to see Yoonji, she wanted to tell her about her reconciliation with Jimin. But the short ravenette was nowhere to be found. She wasn't at their usual talking spot, and she had no way to contact her. But the redhead was decided to join her. With this objective in mind, she approached a group of music students that were sitting at the picnic tables.
«Oh hey guys, how are ya? You're music majors right?» she asked.
«Hey cutie, we are, what can we help you with?» A tall blond fennec responded, winking at her.
«Yeah so, I'm searching for Min Yoonji, she's in your class, I think, do you know where she is?» She said, ignoring his flirty behavior.
«Yoonji?» One of them asked, puzzled. «There's no one going by this name in our class I think.» He looked at his classmates for confirmation.
«No idea bro, never heard of her.» Another added.
«What...? How? But she's in your class, you know... A short cute cat girl, black shoulder-length hair, with bangs! You see?» She mimicked cat ears as she was describing her friend, all of them shaked their heads negatively. She was left here, dumbfounded as to why nobody seemed to remember her.
But she didn't give up, and tried to ask other people, but with no success. Yoonji was a shadow, and Hosun was starting to doubt herself, as if the cat girl was a creation of her imagination. And when she returned to their usual bench, the older was there, sitting peacefully, with her notebook on her lap. The deer was shocked. She approached carefully, as if she was afraid. The other lifted her head, and offered her a small smile, barely noticeable, it wasn't reaching her eyes. Hosun sat next to her, still inspecting her as if she was a ghost.
«Hi.» She softly said, her voice low and calming.
«Y-Yoonji... I looked for you everywhere! Where were you?»
The other looked at her tilting her head slightly, confused. «Hum... I was just talking to my teacher, why?»
«Well I asked for you and... Literally no one knew who you were! Isn't it crazy? I know you're silent but, come on, you're not transparent bro!»
Yoonji fell silent. «Yeah... Weird...» she laughed awkwardly, it felt forced. «Why were you looking for me?» She quickly switched conversations.
«Oh yeah! I talked to Jimin! It's alright between us now... She was really sorry, she even brought me homemade muffins~» She responded, not really paying attention to Yoonji's weirdness.
«That's really cute dude, it feels like a couple thing to do.» the black-haired reacted playfully.
«Ugh shut uppp~ I didn't even told you the gayest part!~» She whined as she started to laugh.
«Oh my god wasn't it gay enough?»
«Nah~ We listened to some music I made with the same pair of earbuds! And like, she put her head on my shoulder and our heads were reaaaly close~ If I wasn't sure she was straight I'd call this sus.» She laughed softly.
«Ewwww~» Yoonji fake gagged.
«Don't be a pussy, you cold hearted kitty~» The deer continued laughing, hitting her shoulder playfully. They continued teasing each other and having fun until an idea appeared in Hosun's mind.
«Oh shit, I had an amazing idea! I should present you to my friends, you seem so lonely, and you're a friendly girl, so you deserve to have more friends~ I felt sad when I saw nobody knew you... Whaddya think?»
«Well... I'm not... Really good with people so uh... I don't know... Maybe? I'm cool with you so maybe it'll be okay with your friends...» The cat responded hesitantly.
