Runaway Princess (werewolf/mates)

Chapter 6

I sat with a few of the pups in the pack, making Daisy chains with them as we spoke about their schooling and how one of the children, Holly, hated it.

"Well at least you have the summer off" I smiled at her.

"Yeah I do" She beamed, giggling, making me laugh.

"Your hair is so pretty" Deliliah said, pouting.

I touched my hair and smiled. I put it in a fish tail plait today, easy and out of the way.

"Thankyou, so is yours"

"Do mine like that?" Holly asked.

"Yeah and mine!" Deliliah asked, making me giggle.

"Okay come here then. Holly first as she asked first"

We sat there for twenty minutes as I did there hair and smiled at my work, putting a Daisy in each girls hair. They squealed and ran inside to show their mother's, as Tyrone looked at me in admiration.

"You're a natural" He told me, as I stood up and dusted off my bottom.

"Yeah, they're sweet girls" I smiled at him.

"You're going to make a great mother and Luna one day" He told me huskily, making me blush.

"Come, we should go for a run" He told me.

I bit my lip, debating. I need to run, but I can't tell anybody. What if he told the rogues and they killed me when I least expected it?

"I'm not in the mood" I smiled at him.

He nodded and looked hurt, but quickly covering it up.

"As you wish angel. I'm going to the neighbouring pack later today, but I will be back by bed time"

I nodded and kissed him goodbye as he strutted into the house. I sighed and decided to go clear my head in he forest.
I walked for a while, debating on the right thing to do, when a beautiful woman dressed in a dark purple flowing dress popped out of nowhere. I gasped and growled slightly as she smirked at me.

"Calm yourself Princess, I mean you no harm" She told me, in a haunting voice.

"H-How do you know who I am?" I asked her, standing up straight.

"I know many things" She told me.

I nodded and followed her as she walked over to a little Brooke. I watched as she touched the water and stood back up, looking at me. Her eyes were pure white and her hair was light blonde and flowing around her. Realisation kicked in.

"You are Lady Yolanda.... You rule over the witches" I told her and she smirked.

"You're a clever one, for being such a young creature"

"Why are you out of your borders? My parents made a treaty with you. You get the enchanted woods, we get the Moon side" I asked her, still slightly on guard.

"The rogues have taken over. Joshua is now the King, he is in the process of getting all mythical creatures on side"

I gulped, my palms turning sweaty.

"Who has he recruited so far?" I asked her.

"The trolls, some vampires and he is in the process of trying with the mermaids"

I closed my eyes, pushing back the fear within me.

"And.... The witches? Will you be joining him?" I asked, afraid.

"No your highness. We back you one hundred percent" She told me, as I let out a sigh of relief.

"What are you doing here?"

"To tell you to not tell your mate just yet"

"I can't keep it from him much longer. It's killing me" I told her, my heart clenching.

"Don't tell him until the time is right Elizabeth. Trust me, I see all"

I nodded and bowed my head to her.

"Thankyou my lady. How can I repay you?" I asked her.

"Win this fight" she told me.

She then vanished in a poof of purple smoke. I squealed slightly in surprise and looked at the space where she vanished, shocked. I knew they could do that, but seeing it in person was surprising.

I took in a shakey breath and started back towards the pack house when I heard Holly and Nathan calling me. This is going to be harder than I thought.
