Chapter 10

I yawned and stretched, coming round from my sleep. Last night was amazing, I can't believe I actually did it. I looked up at my mate and smiled at his sleeping face. He looked utterly content. I can't believe that something so perfect, could belong to me. It's like all this time I've had a hole in my life and he has filled it, completing me.

His eyes flickered open and he gave me a lopsided grin, and I grinned back.

"Good morning, Luna" He greeted, kissing my lips.

"Good morning, Alpha" I replied, making him chuckle.

"Was I okay last night?" I asked him, suddenly feeling self conscious.

"You were amazing, I've never felt that way before" He told me honestly, blushing as a grin spread across my face.

"Cutieee" I cooed teasingly, as he growled playfully.

He got out of bed and started dressing himself, walking over to our bathroom.

"Now I've got to get dressed. I've got to go Avalanche later on to decide what can be done about the rogue situation" He told me.

I gulped and nodded, looking anywhere but at him. Now we're mated, does this mean I can tell him now? Can I trust him? Would he rat me out? I don't think, no scrap that, I know he wouldn't hand me over to the rogues. But if he knew, it would put him and our pack in danger and I am not going to do that.

"You're hiding something from me" He told me, looking in my eyes.

"N-no I'm not!" I stuttered, putting my mind block up.

He looked at me sadly when he realised what I just did and tucked my hair behind my ear. He can't know.

"I know you are Beth. We're supposed to be mates. Heck we've only just mated and already you're keeping secrets" He growled, punching the wall.

I whimpered, shrinking back slightly, not liking the anger he directed towards me. He softened slightly when he saw my face.

"I'm sorry Tyrone. It's.... quite a big thing. I'm not ready yet" I whispered.

He nodded, his jaw clenched.

"Has somebody hurt you? I swear to the moon goddess if they have, I will rip their throats out" He snarled, shaking.

"Calm down. I've told you I'm not ready yet. Respect my wishes" I snapped.

He closed his eyes and nodded, calming himself down.

"Fine"

"Thankyou"

"Now I have got to go. Behave yourself" He told me, kissing me before walking away.

I stood up when he shut the door and sighed. That was close. Too close.

I walked into the bathroom and showered, drying myself off and putting my hair into two plaits. I then pulled on a yellow summer dress and looked in the mirror. I looked glowing today. I heard you look different after mating, but I didn't know it made this much of an impact. I smiled when I saw the mark on my neck, which was a little darker than my normal skin tone. It was a small crown, inside of an eclipse moon and a wolf howling. It was beautiful. The mark of a royal mating with an Alpha.

Shit!!

"Now you must tell him, before he finds out for himself" My wolf told me.

For once, she was right. I took in a shakey breath and went into his mind.

"Hey Ty... what time will you be back?" I asked him.

"Some point next week sweetheart, the Avalanche has already agreed to help with the situation, I have four other packs to visit" He answered.

"Oh" I said, disappointed that I won't be seeing him.

"What's wrong? It will fly past, you'll see" He told me gently, love flying through the link.

"I know... It doesn't matter anyway. When you get back though, we need to talk" I told him.

"Have I done something wrong?" He asked.

"No you haven't. Now go find help" I told him.

"Okay angel.... I love you"

He then cut the link. He told me he loves me for the first time. My tummy had butterfly's and I squealed in glee.

"He loves me!" I shouted into the room.

I blushed realising what a nut case I must seem. I rolled my eyes and made my way downstairs for breakfast.
