Chapter 28

My palms started to sweat, as we made our journey back to the palace. My rightful home. Today is the day. It's now or never.

"We will win. I know we will. We are strong now" My wolf told me, making me puff my chest out, a new strength flowing through me.

We stopped a few miles short of the walls and I took in a deep breath, looking at the wolves and other creatures around me, as Tyrone's stood next to me. I was already in human form, leading them here, to our destiny.

"We have arrived. Remember your training. Belladonna will be here, close to Joshua I should think. Don't wander off on your own. We work as a unit. But Joshua is mine" I growled, letting my royal command seep through.

"Your majesty, I would suggest you let us in with you first. Your voice is the greatest power at the moment, along with our skills, we could send to sleep aswell as kill a good hundred of them" Athena told me, fifty of her people bowing their heads in agreement.

"Of course. Now, remember, you go as soon as I shift. Do you understand?"

Nods and a chorus of 'Yes your highnes' buzzed through the crowd, as me, the sirens and a couple of the witches walked towards the gates.

I bit my lip and wiped my palms on my trousers, feeling nervous. After so long of mot being here, what could have happened to the place I grew up in? Are the bodies of the deceased still here? Anything could be waiting for me.

"Relax and let's kick some ass" Tyrone told me.

Hes right. Enough is enough.

I nodded to the witches, who pointed their hands at the door and blasted it off. A few of the people in there stopped and looked at me, in fear and curiosity. Whispers fluttered through the crowd upon seeing us.

"Is that a witch?"

"They are so beautiful"

"It's the lost Princess, we must inform the king!"

A load of wolves came running out as we walked in, the Sirens adding an extra sway to their hips, standing around me in a triangle shape.

"Sing" One of Athena's sisters hissed at me lowly.

I closed my eyes and let the pain flow through me, everything I have felt these past few weeks, going into my voice as I felt power radiate from me at being back on familiar ground. I sung the only song that I could think of that gave me strength. Titanium.

Some of the wolves fell asleep, others went dopey, like they didn't really know where they were as I sang. I walked through the crowd as the sirens walked with me, through the grand doors. An army of wolves came through as Tyrone's voice rang through my head.

"Elizabeth? What's happening?" He asked me.

"All of you come now" I instructed.

I didn't stop singing as I gently sent some of them to sleep, as the sirens seduced them with their figures and tore our their wind pipes when they were close enough. I almost gagged at the sight, but never once stopped singing as I punched and kicked a few of them.
