"I can't stand you"

I hum to myself as I start unpacking my things. This'll never be home but I can at least make it look like home.
Vanya and Allison poke their heads into the doorway
"Do you want help unpacking?" Allison asks
I look back and forth between the two of them and nod.

"You missed it while you were gone" Allison says as she pulls out a picture of my mom and I
"Missed what?" I say closing a drawer full of socks
"Five was pissed" Allison says with a smile
I roll my eyes "he always is"
"I think he was worried about you" Vanya chimes in
"I doubt it"
"I think he cares about you"
I start laughing, obviously she's kidding
"Although maybe he just wants a new reason to be mad at Reginald." She muses.

Allison pulls out a picture that Ben took of Diego, Klaus, and I in a park "You guys are cute"
I glance over, "I love that picture. Even though I think Ben was too shy to say one word to me that whole day."
Vanya looks over her shoulder "I don't think Diego realizes how father got you to agree to this"

I sigh "I'm not going to tell him, he's happy to have me around"
Allison smiles, "I'm happy to have you around too, I needed a girl in the academy"
I offer her a fake smile, You have Vanya
"I'm happy to have you too, the boys are too much sometimes" I don't blame her for being happy. She doesn't know how upset I truly was, nobody does, except Five.

Vanya pulls out a Polaroid of Five vomiting on the floor of Gritty's donuts with Allison and Ben laughing in the back, "your array of photos is interesting"
"I'm surprised you kept a picture of Five." Allison says.
"Well seeing him miserable makes me feel better" I glance over and smile "Klaus took that. It's from a couple weeks after I met you, back when I was working at Gritty's. I was so mad I was going to have to clean that up and he told me I was lucky he didn't vomit on me."
Allison laughs "I remember that. You hit him with a mop"

I let out a short laugh "I can't stand that boy"
Allison and Vanya look at each other and giggle. What is that about?
"Are you sure you can't?" Allison asks in a sing song voice
"Of course I'm sure" I pause "he's infuriating"
"You always get so red when you talk to him"
"Because I'm mad"
Vanya giggles again "sure it is"
I scoff and roll my eyes, "whatever" they're so full of sh*t.

Five's POV

I pace back and forth down the hallway trying to shake the rage coursing through my veins. do I really even care that she's upset? I debate going to check on her but I can hear that Allison and Vanya are in there with her, giggling like normal teenage girls, except there's nothing normal about this.

"Why so mad Fivey?" Klaus asks practically dancing around me
"Leave me alone" I spit
"Mad at our dear old dad?" He asks smiling
"I've always hated him, but thins is a new low. If I could kill him, I would" I don't know why I told him that. It just came out. I don't even know why it matters to me. I can't even control myself anymore.

Klaus chuckles like he knows something, "Oh my, you care about her"
I scoff "of course not"
"You liiikkkee her" he sings
"Shut up" I growl at him
"Five and Y/n sitting in a tree k-i-s-s-i-n-g"
"I can't stand you"
"Don't worry, I won't tell her"
"There's nothing to tell her!" I yell
Klaus winks "of course not" he studies my face for a moment "but if there were I think she'd secretly feel the same"
I laugh humorlessly. Y/n liking me? Me liking her? He really is as dumb as everyone thinks.

Grace comes in the hall, "Klaus, leave your brother alone"
"Ok mother" he says before skipping off
He has some screws loose.
