"Fuckin' hell." Iris drunkenly drawled as she stumbled her way on to the Hogwart Express, James close behind, guiding her to their compartment.Ever since first year, the Marauders had made it a known fact that the fifth compartment on the left was theirs, and everyone kind of agreed with it. They left their initials engraved on their seats, marking the place forever.
As James walked with her, he laughed with every time she tripped. Which was a lot. They finally ended up making their way to the compartment, James stepping in front of Iris to open the compartment door.
Iris's unfocused gaze glanced on everything around the compartment, excitement washing over her expression.
"What's up, bitches?" Iris slurred with a huge grin across her face.
Sirius, she notices, is staring at her. "Are you fucking drunk?" He laughed, asking the question the rest of the boys wanted to.
"No. Yes. I- Vomit. Now. Bye," Iris clamps a hand over her mouth, rushing out of the compartment, moving as fast as she could in her drunken state.
James sat down with a tired sigh, giving up on controlling his drunken sister. He turned to his best friends, "Good holiday?" He asks with an intent to change the subject, but the rest of the Marauders wouldn't have it.
Remus, who was consumed by a large sweater, and definitely had fresh scars across his face, glanced away from his book and had an evident look of entertainment on his face. "Why is she drunk right now? It's 11:00 in the bloody morning!"
James dragged a hand down his face and responded, "Stayed up late, fire whiskey may have been included, and I woke up this morning to an even more drunk Iris."
"Let the girl have fun, I mean I want whatever she's having," Peter said laughing at the girl, "This whole talk of death eaters and blood shit is driving me bloody insane; I could use a shot of fire whiskey right about now."

Iris made it just in time to the bathroom, leaning over the toilet, and vomiting her drunken insides out. She sat back against the stall, leaning her head to the side, sighing in relief.
She got up, washed her mouth, ruffled her hair, before putting her jacket back on over her tiny top and jeans. Walking down the train's narrow hallway she decided to stop and check in on her girls before heading back to her compartment.
As Iris looked in each compartment for her other friends, she failed to notice a presence following behind her. Just as Iris was about to give up on finding her friends and go back to her own compartment, a hand grabbed her shoulder from behind, startling the drunken girl.
Iris turned around, her heart beating rapidly from being startled. "Oh finally! I've been looking for you everywhere!" Iris's long time best girl friend, Marlene, exclaimed with a happy smile plastered on her face.
"Hey Marls, that's funny because I've been looking for you, Lil, and Mary for quite some time." Iris slurred as the alcohol still coursed through her veins. Apparently throwing up the contents of her stomach, which only included alcohol and some frozen waffles, wasn't enough to sober her up.
"For Merlin's sake! Have you been partying without me again?" Marlene questioned with a jealous pout on her face, that girl had major FOMO.
"Me? Never! I have no idea what you're talking about." Iris grinned as she winked and slid past Marlene. "See you in the dorm Marls!" Iris called as she slid back into the Marauder's compartment.
Slightly less drunk than before, Iris plopped down in between Remus and Peter, throwing her arms around them, a wicked grin on her face.
"I've got some great ideas for this year," Iris said facing James and Sirius.
"You're planning our pranks for this year already, but you haven't given us our hello hugs?" Remus says looking over at her, "Two and a half bloody months and you haven't missed us?"
With that, Iris realized she really hadn't hugged any of them hello, seeing as she was in the compartment for five seconds before leaving to vomit. She giddily jumped up from her spot between the two boys and went to hug Remus first.
"Stand up you twat, I'm gonna need a proper hug from you," She stated with her arms opened out in front of her, waiting for Moony to stand.
Remus grinned and threw his arms around his best friend's neck as she leaned in to his huge and welcoming sweater. All the Marauders knew Moony gave the best hugs.
"You okay?" Iris asked, backing away from the hug to trace her finger over his scarred face.
"Nothing I haven't dealt with before," Remus reasoned with a shrug.
"I know, I just hate you have to go through it alone when we can't be there." Iris said with remorse hinting her tone.
Peter got up and tapped her shoulder, expecting his hug next. That impatient sod.
She turned to hug him as well, "Don't thing I forgot about you my little rat boy."
"For the last fucking time Hoot, I'm not a rat I'm a mouse," Peter responds with impatience but an equally immature retort.
"Like that makes any difference," Iris says while rolling her eyes.
And before Iris could even turn around, she hears Sirius's condescending tone say, "Saving the best for last now are we, Birdy?"
"You so wish," Iris said turning into the tight embrace.
Sirius Black had always been particularly tall, but compared to Iris at 5'4, and Sirius at 6'3, Iris's head was level with his chest, not that the hug was awkward. Although Iris would ever admit this, Moony's hugs may have been the best, but Sirius's would always be the ones she needed most.
"Alright, wrap it up you guys, we need to get our robes on soon," James said, seeing Hogsmeade station in the near distance.
With the four boys, and a drunk Iris, the Marauder's sixth year had officially begun, they couldn't wait.
