Chapter 28:
Today is the day of the red carpet so we all woke up early to start the preparations.
Yesterday I asked if Hailee wanted to come with me like my date. She said yes so I'm really excited.
She was supposed to go as well but alone. Going there with me will definitely confirm that we're together to the world.
So here we are now with a stylist, a makeup artist and a hair stylist in Hailee's house.
Suddenly I get a text from Lizzie.

Weird. I go on instagram and what I see make my blood boil.
« What?» Hailee asked confused
« My ex Elena tweeted about us »
« Us? What do you mean »
I just give her my phone
The tweet says « Your favorite ship of the moment is not that stable. Miss Steinfeld living your lover broken is not girlfriend-worthy »
She looks at me with a anger that I never saw in her eyes. But she quickly calm down when she looks at me.
« I'm sorry that everyone know what I did. I hope that you're not mad at me » she said.
« No of course not. Hailee, we sorted things out together. It's not because of some tweet of my jealous ex that I'll be mad again. I don't need anyone to tell me what I should do » I said and she nodded « thank you. So we're good? »
« Of course we are baby » I kissed her cheek.
« Can I kill your ex? » she said making me chuckle.
« don't give her importance. We will surely be asked about it today during interviews but I will answer that I'm happy with you and nobody need to tell me what to do. Especially my crazy ex that hurt me badly »
« Are you planning on telling me what she did? No pressure of course you're not obligated to tell me » she said.
« I will tell you but it's a conversation we should have later » I said and she agreed.
« I hate social media » I sighed. « It makes me so nervous » I started fidgeting with my hands.
« Hey baby. It's okay. I'm here. It's just me and you remember? Nobody else » she said and I nodded.
« Come here » she opened her arms for me. I wrapped my arms around her waist and she wrapped hers around my neck.
« I love you » I said and she kissed my forehead. « I love you too »
Sometimes I want to delete all my social media like Lizzie did. She received so much hatred and for nothing.
Brie knows how to handle that better than us.
When she received all this hate because she played captain marvel. Oh my god it was almost more hard for me than her. She has an amazing self control and I admire her for that.
But I also know that it was a hard time for her, but she's better now and I'm really proud of her.

A few hours later we're all ready and we're all at Lizzie's house.
Honestly we're all amazing. We all wear amazing clothes and our makeup and hair are amazing.
I wear an amazing red long dress with beautiful accessories.
Hailee wear a suit and oh my god she's so hot in this outfit I don't think I can handle it until tonight.
We all take a van to go at the red carpet together. I sit next to Hailee and I can feel her hand stroking my thigh really close to the place.
I leaned close to her ear and whispered « Hailee Steinfeld stop this »
She gave me a innocent smile before putting her hand away mouthing « can't help it »
A few minutes later we arrived at the red carpet. Before we get out of the van and I take Hailee's hand.
I'm nervous as hell. I look at Lizzie and see her in the same state as me.
I lean closer to Lizzie and put my forehead on hers. « It's gonna be okay. I'm with you and you're with me » I whispered.
« I'm with you and you're with me » she repeated.
That's our things. We always do this before an interview, a red carpet or an event.
We're both really nervous and it helps us. Knowing that we're here together reassure us.
When we pull away, we give a look to the other girls and get out of the van.
Flash immediately start going from everywhere. I squeeze Hailee's hand hard.
She leaned in my ear and whispered « you're safe. I'm here » I breathed out. She's right. Nothing can happen to me as long as she and my friends are here.
We all walk together on the red carpet taking poses, taking pictures with everyone...
After the red carpet we have a bunch of interviews. And it's where I'm going to talk about Hailee and me.
