"Gee, Gee, Gee, Gee, guess what!"I bellowed as I ran to my best friend who was talking to one of the guys on their football team. I need to tell them I just saw the boy of my dreams. He is tall and blonde, and skinny, and he skated to school, and he...

"Oh sorry Gee I didn't know you were busy," I said, gesturing to the tall guy beside them. "I can wait to tell yo-"

"No, it's ok Cher I was just finishing up anyways" They assured me and then gave the guy one of their famous "You're an asshole and I'll tell you why later" glare. What did the poor boy do to deserve that look? "See you at practice, Adrian, I hope you have a great class asshole," they called to Adrian as he strutted by, flipping Gee the bird as he left. "I'm sorry Cher that you had to meet Adrian when he was in one of his shitty moods. He's usually pretty chill but life hasn't been nice to him for some time now and I think it's finally catching up to him. Anyways, what did you want to tell me?" They asked as they draped their arm around my shoulders and started walking. I fought them but gave up as soon as I felt their arm shifting away.

"Oh, it's fine. What did he do to make you mad enough to give him one of your glares?" I asked as we walked into a crowd of people who cleared a way for us as soon as they saw Gee. I looked up to see they were frowning as we passed them.

"He and the other boys were bullying a new kid again. They ripped his headphones off and broke them. The kid just picked them up and left. Neaal said he looked upset but didn't cry; he just grabbed the headphones and his skateboard and walked away. When I asked Adrian all he said was that the fag wasn't paying attention to where he was walking, ignored them, and refused to pay that damned hall tax. He sounded so damn proud like he did me a favor even though I asked him to tell the boys to stop doing that. We are not dictators, we don't own the whole Goddamn school, we're just football players, and the sooner they get their massive egos in check the sooner we can actually change this school for the better." I could tell there was more they needed to say but here wasn't the right place and my next class was close.

"Gee, good changes don't happen spontaneously, especially when humans are involved. You just have to keep trying, don't lose sight of your goals, and never forget that you aren't alone. If you want, can we talk strategies later after school while I work? If that would help you any, I think Leo will let us have the leftover breakfast again."

"Thanks for the offer Cherry Tomato, the only problem is that I have football practice so what about I go over to your house after practice and maybe pick up some dinner for us? How does that sound?"

"Sounds like a date!" I confirmed. Gee looked at me with this suggestive grin on their face, and said, "A date? Well, now I know exactly what to pick up."

"You know I didn't mean it like. Stop looking at me with that disgusting face you pervert." I pushed them away as they tried to hug me. "Stop, Gee you know what I meant."

"As you wish," they said, immediately backing away from me. It took more strength than expected to ignore the urge to grab their jacket and pull them close and wrap my arms around their neck. Just a hug wouldn't be weird right? We've been friends forever, friends hug, that's normal. But I don't just want a hug. I want all what that stupid grin suggests. Fuck my horny brain. Why can't I just let them hug me? I'm fucking straight. This shouldn't be a problem. I looked at Gee who was still a safe distance away and felt my face go red. Fucking traitor, thank God I have a naturally red face.

"Ok, Cher, as much as I love the time we spend together I have to go to my class if I don't want to get on the C, D, F, list. Do you still want me to come over?"

"Ok, and of course as long as you won't be weird." A little smile started to manifest.

"Cher, you know if I was normal I would be so boring."
