Once I had gotten home, Jerry dragged me to the basement to beat me for my actions since he found my schedule. Add to that; I was an ass at the cafe, started a fight with my mother, and he found my laptop with fanfics I write, the unholy BL ones obviously. I remember I endured all the abuse for Lily, so she thinks I’m cool and not a shut in. Today’s abuse was so much worse than usual  and I ended up passing out on the floor. I wake up in my pretty barren room, I never hide anything in here so there isn’t anything they’ll find in here, Lily’s room is a whole different story. I get out of bed and go straight to the bathroom to take a shower. I've always hated the feeling of dried blood on me. I wash off all the dried blood and clean out the wounds which  sting thanks to my shitty soap. When I’m done with the shower I wrap the deeper wounds on my back. I hear someone come into the house and head to Lily’s room, I guess she has a friend over. I get dressed and walk to my room where I sit down at my desk and work on homework. Not even 30 minutes later, Lily runs in with Lizzy, a regular visitor, to come have a tea party with me but immediately stops in their tracks.
“Lucas, your back is bleeding…” I shouldn’t be, I wrapped all the deep ones!
“I can help you with wrapping that, I help Rainy with his wounds after fights sometimes.” Oh great, she’s Adrian’s little sister. Have to be careful of what I say.
“It's ok girls, I’ll go check what it is while you both set up our tea party. Is there a dress code to this princess Lily?” She shakes her head no and I leave to go check where I’m bleeding, Lizzy following me. “Go help with the tea party, I’ll be fine.” She doesn’t stop following me as I go into the bathroom, and shut the door. I can hear her breathing thanks to the thin walls as I take off my shirt, and check the wound. It was bleeding through the thin bandages I put on. “Fine, come in Lizzy.” She comes in as I sit on the floor, she takes off the wrapping, cleans the wound again, then puts new wrappings on it, doing a second layer. She did it all while talking about Adrian and how he is so nice. Once she’s done, she runs off to help Lily with the tea party set up. I slip on a new shirt and join them for the best tea party ever. Halfway through, I blackout at the table making the girls scream for help.
I wake up in a hospital bed with Lily snuggled up next to Lizzy in a hospital chair. Who brought these kids here? Wait! Who’s keeping an eye on them!? I look around to see Jerry and mom outside the room talking to a doctor, and Adrian is asleep with his head on the bed and holding my hand. Adrian is holding my hand! I silence my single panic because only Lily has held my hand before and I’ve never dated someone before. My mom walks in first, with Jerry, and the doctor following behind her.
“Oh, you’re finally awake. You’ve been unconscious for a few hours due to a loss of a lot of blood.” Good, only a few hours. “Your boyfriend and these girls haven’t left the whole time, you got some worried people. I’ve also already discussed the treatment to quick recovery to your parents.”
“He’s not my boyfriend, and he’s been here the whole time?” What about his siblings? What about his grocery shopping today? The doctor nods and I try to get my hand out of his but he’s got a gentle yet tight grip on my hand. I look over to Jerry to see a pissed off look as he  glares at me. Should’ve just stayed in my room today.
The doctor discusses with me everything that I should keep myself from doing until I heal since my wounds are so big and deep. I listen to him as I watch Lily sleep, taking small notes. Jerry interrupts the doctor to be a narcissist. “Lucas, use your manners and look at this kind doctor. They helped you after all.” I look at the doctor and nod along as they speak. After a couple minutes, I feel Arian starting to wake up so I quickly slip my hand back to myself but make it look normal. Adrian gets up, checks on Lizzy, then sits at the foot of the bed. All while getting himself caught up in the conversation. The doctor finishes up and leaves, then Jerry starts a quiet argument with me about getting Adrian and Lizzy out while my mom stays quiet.
I just tilt my head down, then I hear Adrian pipe up and say, “Sir, you should be thanking me for saving your stepson and daughter. You left 2 little kids with a tired and overworked high schooler who was barely looking after themself. And to add to that, I was the one who stopped the fight he got himself into to get those wounds” Wait, fight? I never got into a fight, does he know? Jerry was confused too, then blew it off and left, my mom following close behind him. “Are you ok dumbass?” I was waiting for the worst names, but he tilts my chin up to look at him. “Are you ok Blondie?” I tried not to turn red but I did.
“I’m fine Eugene. Why did you lie for me about the wounds?” He sighs and points at the waking up Lily, who quickly wakes up when she sees me awake. She carefully got off the chair so she didn’t wake Lilzzy and ran over to me. "Hey princess, how did you sleep?" She hugs me and gives me a stern yet cute talk about falling asleep during our tea party.
Adrian decides to interrupt.  "Princess Lily, you wanna help me go get snacks for your knight and your prince?" She lets go of me saying yes as she hops and down happily. She is so cute and innocent. They leave and I look around more for anything to do and see the folder with the assignment in it. I get to write the story and enjoy the pictures that Adrian drew for this assignment. I love all of them.
Jerry walks in with a belt in hand and I look around for anyone that could help and only see the sleeping Lizzy. "You think I won't do anything because she's here? Well you're very wrong. Now, let's talk about how you're gonna pay me back for these hospital bills because I know you have the money and job to help."
All I can do is nod and agree to this. "I do have both sir. Do I need to pick up more shifts once I heal?" Please just let me heal before you make my life hell again.
He slaps me and my cheek immediately starts stinging. "You think I'm gonna let you be a lazy pig who eats all the food I bring to the table then make you work a little extra? You're nowhere near what I want you to do since it'll take a long time for you to pay me back with that small job you have. I want you to get another job and drop out of that fag filled school."
By now my head was down but I was writing everything down when I heard the door open. I looked over to see Lily had some jello cups while Adrian was holding 2 water cups. "Hey princess Lily. Hey Adrian." He looked a little worried and walked over, so I put away the notes I took down and he stands next to me waiting for something. "Y-Yeah?"
He looks around for something then sees it in my hands. "Can I have the assignment, you aren't doing it here while you're supposed to heal. Lizzy made me promise to keep you from falling asleep during another tea party."
She made you promise what? "More tea parties for Princess Lily? I’ll make sure my homework gets done then. When did this come to happen?"
Lily hops onto the bed and starts eating a jello cup while she speaks. "Since I made a new friend at school who can hold me like the princess I am. Now my knight needs to heal so he can protect me from the evil dragon." Wait, when did she have an evil dragon I have to protect her from? And is Lizzy her prince!?
I try to calm the rushing thoughts about Lily having a girl Prince. "As you wish." Adrian and Lily laughed at me for a little bit then Lily cuddled up with me while Adrian sat with Lizzy. "Why are you here instead of being with your siblings?"
He looks at me like I should know the answer. I don't know the stupid answer. “You passed out and Lizzy doesn’t want to leave. My dad is watching the little ones while everyone else is at a friends' house."
Fucking DILF in my eyes now. "Oh, so I should thank Lizzy for your stay?” He nods shortly as Jerry leaves.
I start mumbling stupid ideas when he comes over and kisses me. Like a real and passionate kind of kiss, not one of those sloppy ones you see on TV. I slowly close my eyes to embrace the kiss more as Lily gets off the bed and I wrap my arms around his neck. Hottest DILF I have ever met, but he still doesn’t beat dadzawa. We break apart and he slips out of my arms laughing a little.
