You get back to your home about 30 minutes before sunset and set your work bag down on the counter. You sigh an exhausted sigh, today was a long day. It's only been a few days since you have last seen Vincent.

You've thought about him over those few days, mainly what he said about his name.

All you have to do is call my name.. I'll hear it.

Him saying that has sat in the back of your mind ever since you drove away from the forest. His name sways in the back of your mind, your tongue urging to say his name allowed.

You're not sure if he was saying that to arouse you. Maybe he was telling the truth, but how could that possibly work?

Staring at your work supplies on the counter makes you upset. Sometimes, you feel really lonely in this place. It's not hard to go out and talk to someone, but it's almost like your heart misses someone in particular.

You push those thoughts away, instead, you put your work supplies away where they belong and head to your room.

----------------

After cleaning up yourself as well as your place a little, you lay on your bed for a moment. You shut your eyes, thinking. You try to think about your life but his face is the only thing on your mind. You try to push those thoughts away but the way the incandescent light reflects onto his face almost perfectly. The way he'd smirk at you after saying something bold.

You shut your eyes hard and furrow your eyebrows. He just won't get out of your mind.

You get out of bed and decide to go make dinner, surprisingly, you just decide to go with something easy.

----------------

Stirring your food, you get a call from your friend. You reach over to pick up their call.

"Hi!" They say cheery.

"Hello-" you say but get cut off by them.

"How's your vampire boyfriend you talk so much about?" They ask, and you can hear their grin through the phone.

"he's not my boyfriend.. and he's not a vampire." You say rolling your eyes and slightly smiling.

"I believe he is!"

"Why, because your boyfriend is supposedly a werewolf, as you say?"

"He is-"

"Uh-huh. Just like how he's the pack alpha?"

"He is!-"

"You need to stop reading so many corny fanfictions."

They laugh as your smile gets wider.

"Listen, I don't know much about werewolves or vampires but you really should just say his name aloud. You never know!" You can tell they're trying to convince you to feed into these silly games.

"No," You say in response, as you turn the stove off. "there's no possible way that'd work. Unless he is listening right now, which I highly doubt."

"Maybe he is. Maybe he's waiting for you. You little vampire friend misses you." They say with an antagonizing tone to get you to do it.

You don't say anything for a minute and start eating my food.

"Not gonna work."

We chat for a little more about something other than the supernatural world as you finish my plate of food.

"Well," they say, "Davey- I mean David!"

You audibly laugh at that one. "Davey?!" They begin to laugh too.

"Don't tell him I said that. He doesn't even like that I call him that." They say, still slightly laughing.

You wipe your eyes as you walk over to the sink to clean up. "I won't, don't worry."

"Thank you. Anyways, moving off of that," They let out another laugh, "David is going to be home soon so I got to go."

"Alrighty, I'll talk to you later-" They cut you off.

"Also! Don't forget to say your vampire boyfriend's name tonight!" They say and quickly hang up so they get the last word on that topic. You know them, You've known them for a while. Before this werewolf boyfriend. They sound so confident about it, you might start believing them. But that's impossible, right?

You set my phone down and scrub the dishes.

In the middle of doing it, Vincent is in your mind once more. You're beginning to feel tired. Him telling you his name is louder in your mind now that it's dead silent in your home. The urge to say his name is getting stronger and stronger by the seconds you think about him.

Finally giving in, you grin and turn around facing the rest of the kitchen saying "Vincent! Oh Vincent, come here!" Saying in a flirty tone and loud enough like you're calling him from the next room over. It felt nice to say his name.

Knowing he can't hear you makes you feel more bold. "Vincent, I miss you!" Saying that makes you give a slight laugh. Trying to deny yourself from knowing that's true. "Vincent!" You call more, hoping that he would just appear and flirt with you again. You miss the way his words made you feel.

You spin back around, to finish the last dish and put it on the drying rack to put away in the morning. Grabbing your phone, you head back to your room to sleep. About to grab the door, you feel the tiniest bit paranoid. Like someone is there.

Ignoring that feeling, you push open your door, only to see a figure in your dimly lit room. A wave of fear The only resource of light is coming from the moonlight out the window and the street lamp.

"God I thought you'd never get home." A familiar voice says. You know that voice.

You slightly jump at the surprise of his visit. Eyes wide in the dark, trying to see his face. You can't make out much. You wonder if he can see you.
