After that meeting with Zeref he had taught me a lot of spells, I was honestly surprised by how much magic he had known! I was so impressed that I wanted to be just like him.
"Great job Iris on training today, you really did well." Zeref said, giving me a smile.
"Well I do wanna be the most powerful wizard in the universe after all!" I said, putting one of my hands on my hip and the other hand on my chest to show my attitude. I looked at Zeref with the pose that I was in, expecting something to come out of his mouth. "I know you do but you must be patient. Your time will come soon" When Zeref said that he continued to walk toward me but not getting closer to other people. I wondered why we were doing that every time I got near him.
"Hey Zeref, I have a question for you." I said, getting closer to zeref. He stopped when he heard me speak.
"Oh what is it?" Zeref wondered why I wanted to ask a question. It was pretty weird for me to ask questions but I had to, I wondered what was going on between me and him.
"Well I always wondered why you just can't stand near e but when it comes to other people you're like ten feet away from them?" I asked questionly, I was scratching the back of my head because I wondered to get an answer from him. I've always wondered why he would act like this, It sounded prett stupid in my opinion.
"Well Iris, this is hard to explain but all I can just say when people get near me they would just die right in front of me." I didn't know what he meant by that. He didn't say anything else, he just walked away after he said that sorta response to me. It's been a month since I asked that question and everytime we either eat, train, and or even get ready to travel somewhere else I'll always ask the same question but still no answer from him. I was training at an open area, practicing my most powerful spells but then I stopped training for one second. Leah was confused why I stopped training, it wasn't like me after all.
"Wow I've been training for so long that I totally forgot about Zeref! Maybe I should go check up on him?" I said, turning my head with my hands on my chest. My head turned in the direction where Zeref was in, I was pretty worried for him after all. I walked to Leah's direction where she was sitting on the floor and watched me train at and picked her up into my arms because I just wanted to check on Zeref, I mean I suspected that Leah would wanna come so I brung her with me. Little did I know when we were going to visit Zeref it would be a memory we would never forget. I walked to the area where we always picked out flowers and food. When I have arrived to the area we saw dead trees everywhere.
"What's going on! Wait a minute, I sense dark magic in the air!" I yelled, stepping back and with my eyes wide because I was shocked on what's happening. I put my arm in front of my face because of all of the wind pressure that was being blown at us. My dress was flowing in the wind because of how much pressure there was.
"Iris, if there is dark magic in the air it has to be Zeref!" Leah said, flying outside of my arms, trying to get out of the large black cloud that was right in front of us.
"Shoot! I can't get in there! Only you can Iris!" Leah yelled, turning her hand towards me with a feared expression. I didn't understand why she said that but all I cared about in that moment of time I only cared about getting to Zeref. I ran into the cloud without thinking.
"I'm coming, Zeref! Don't worry!" I said, running in the cloud, trying to find Zeref. That's it I cared about, finding Zeref and getting him to safety in the end. I ran as fast as I could when I finally stopped and saw a figure in the distance, it was a black figure but I immediately knew who it was. It was Zeref! He was sitting on the dead grass with his hands holding onto his head, It looked like he was in so much pain i felt bad for him.
"Zeref! I'm here-" After I said that I heard a little mumbling that was I think coming from Zeref's month. The thing that Zeref said I was in shock, but I stepped in closer so I could try to help him but I stopped again after one step.
"Go, now!" Zeref yelled at me like he wanted me to leave but I didn want to. I then saw how ugh he was fighting through the pain just to tell me to go away so I can be safe. My eyes started to water because I didn't want to leave him behind. The Black cloud had got bigger, I jumped back do to how much of the cloud was being created.
"Take leah a-and r-run" Right has he said that there was a kinda black knife figure that was being created from the cloud. I instantly knew that I needed to run from it, if I stayed there longer I would be dead for sure. I looked at Zeref and just ran back crying, I can't believe I just left the only Person that actually enjoyed being around me that was beside leah. Leah saw me run out of the cloud crying. She looked at me with a worried look.
"Iris! What's wrong-" I jumped in the air so I could catch leah in my arms and continued to run. She was confused and scared of what was happening in that moment of time. She tried to get out of my arms and I held her tight.
"I have to do this, Leah, so we won't die from the thing that's chasing us!" I said, my eyes then filled with water because I was just so worried about what was about to happen next. I started to get tired of running but I had to to protect myself and Leah, I didn't want to die so soon I still needed to be the most powerful wizard in the universe right? Leah finally noticed what was following us, her fear became even larger than before.
"Iris, now I know why you're running! You better run faster!" Leah screened at me but I was already stressed enough already so I tried to run even faster but I couldn't.
"I'm trying to run faster! I really am! I just can't go faster than this!" I said, I was on the verge of tripping so I threw leah in the air and then something went through my stomach, I think it was the cloud that tried to kill me... everything turned black, I also heard a thud. I had collapsed onto the soft green grass floor. I took one last glimpse of what was happening until Leah looked at me with a worried look and a woman with a red cloak staring down at me. I finally closed my eyes hoping that this isn't the end of my life.
"Wow you really got yourself hurt this time Iris! This is the second time, the first time you had died but luckily your older sister asked Zeref to bring you back. He was so nice to bring you back to life! Oh and your hair still looks the same as I remember it was, your hair still as white as now, Oh! And those eyes are still as hazel as honey." I wondered what that voice was, I also didn't even know what she has said exactly because everything was so foggy to hear.
"Please help her" I kept hearing voices, I wondered who that was but all I hoped for was for me and Leah to be okay in the end.
"Ok but if I heal her my magic would affect the dragon and demon seed in her body!" The mysterious voice said in a worried voice. The mysterious person put their hand on my stomach so they can try to heal me.
"Ok fine!" The mysterious girl then had healed me. I then opened my eyes after who knows how long. I saw Leah right in front of me.
"Iris! You're finally awake, I've been waiting for hours!" Leah said, crying her eyes out. Her paws her on my arm because she was so worried.
"What happened, Ow, My head hurts!" I said, putting one of my hands to my head because it was a little painful.
"Yeah um it's better if you don't know, it's just best if you don't." Leah said, jumping into my arms.
