Chapter Five - Waking Up.

I start waking up and the first thing is bright lights...
Bright lights everywhere...
I feel a tug on my hand and I try to look to see, but the focus of my vision has not come clearly yet... After a few minutes of resting my eyes I try to open them back up and I see Tony sleeping on my bed with me, him laying right next to my side with his arm draped over Amara.
I start to move a little and Tony instantly wakes up and looks at me. He's been crying, I can tell because his eyes are all swollen and puffy and red. He has tear stains on his face, many of them. He even still has tears in his eyes, he's still crying. "Babe... oh my god babe... you're alive... you're awake... I'm so happy..." he starts crying again, but this time once the tears leave his eyes a very big and wide smile crosses his face and he lights up like he always does whenever he sees me.

"It's a miracle if you woke up the doctors said... you were in a coma... a deep one and they didn't think you'd wake up at least not this quick." he says kissing my cheek, glad to see I'm still here. "Babe how long was I out for? And what happened? I feel fine, but the last thing I remember is getting hit by that crazy car... What happened to Amara... oh my God babe is she okay... " I say as I start tearing up while feeling my stomach to see if she's kicking or anything... nothing... I feel nothing... I start bursting into tears... "Hey baby it's okay, she's okay, everything is okay babe. Amara is fine and she was just kicking a minute before you woke up because I felt her, My head was rested on her. And you have been out for about a day or so, but it's okay now because you're back and up. I'm going to go get the doctor and your mom babe, they need to know you're up." he said as he kissed me and my belly and walked out. As soon as he left sleep overtook my mind and I.

I had a very vivid dream that night, a dream that had meaning. I was in a meadow, laying down with Tony and Amara. This was my first glimpse at Amara, she was so beyond beautiful. She was wearing a beautiful white dress with ruffles, sparkles, beads, and lace. She had long, thick blonde hair like mine, with tan skin like her father. She had big brown eyes that made her the most beautiful girl in the world. I was stunned by her beauty, a mix of Tony and I could win beauty pageants because of her gorgeous looks. She was our princess and I loved her dearly, more than anything. I closed my eyes for a second and when I opened them again Tony was further away now. He was standing there screaming for me while I screamed back because he could not get out of what seemed to be an invisible dome. I looked back and saw Amara in one too, except there was a man in there with her. I started running towards her faster and faster and screaming as loud as I could. But at that moment I had awoken from my dream.

It was late, about two in the morning when I had awoken so I decided to sit up and tell Tony about the dream I had, he said everything would be okay and he would never ever let anything like that happen to Amara and I, and he is never going to leave us alone again after what had happened on the walk I had on my way home. I hope he's right...
