Chapter 4: Shakuni's Secret Admirer

A couple days after Karn's coronation Dronacharya came asking for his Guru dakshina and the same thing went down while Shakuni recieves an anonymous letter.

Praan Priye Gandhar Raj,

Aasha karti hu ki aap sakushal hai. Humne suna hai Dronacharya ne apni Gurudakshina mai aadhe Panchal ki maang ki hai. Aap se vinati hai ki aap Kauravon aur Pandavon ko ek saath ladwaye. Jaante hai iss baat se aap krodhit honge parantu awashakta padhne par Gadhe ko bhi baap banana padta hai. Yeh toh Phir bhi Pandav hai. Agar Woh saath mai ladenge toh bhale hi yudh koi Pandav jeete shrey Kauravon ko bhi milega. Iss se Yudhishthir abhi ke liye Yuvraj niyukt nehi hoga. Aur aapko Angraj se sampark banane mai adhik samay bhi milega. Aapki dur ki rishtedar Mala ki rajkumari Shreya ko Angraj pasand karte hai agar unnka vivah ho jaaye toh aapka hi labh hoga.

I hope you are well. I have heard that Dronacharya has asked for half of Panchal as his Gurudakshina. It is my dear request that you make the Kauravas and Pandavas fight the war as one team. I know you will be upset with this request but it is said that that to get your work done you sometimes have to honour the fools too. These are Pandavas in comparison. If they fight the war together then even if a Pandava defeat the king even the Kauravas will get recognizable credit. In that way Yudhishtir won't become the crowned prince and you will get more time with Angraj to improve your bond. Your distant relative the princess of Mala Princess Shreya likes Angraj. If they get married then you will have some benefits.

Shakuni had multiple reaction while reading that letter. It started with confusion, suspicion, anger, thinking and lastly he blushed. While dear nephews were gaping at him and started whispering amongst each other.

Duryodhan: Inn ko kya hua?

While Duryodhan glared at him.

Shakuni: Bhanje. Yudh ka parinaam hum mai se kisi ko nehi pata. Kyu naa yeh guru dakshina tum sab unn Pandavon ke saath ek jut ho kar lado.

Vikarna asked in shock. While Dussasan whispered to Duryodhan.
