(I swear I wrote this chapter in December 💀 it's boring but I had to give y'all a lil update or two this summer)

Thanks to Whis Earth was brought back, his time rewind saved everyone's ass. In fact that's how Y/n and Buu slept through Frieza's defeat. It was as if they didn't have a care in the world. Life went on.

Y/n resumed tending to her little business, since she had two new employees she could become a little more lax. Y/n still enjoyed working the closing shift though, it always reminded her of how she met Buu that one night. Who would've thought she'd meet an alien with a checkered past eating out of her garbage can. Better yet, who would've thought she'd love him? Even after all he'd done, she felt so inclined to be with him.

Y/n let out a soft sigh since she was deep in thought, still wiping the countertop off. She was thinking about Beerus now, Buu was beyond jealous of him. Despite the fact that Y/n only spoke to Beerus a few times! Buu was also jealous of Van, though he mostly intended to warn her of his treacherous ways. Y/n knew that Buu loved her, it was obvious he wanted to be her one and only. Y/n couldn't help but feel powerful, she had Buu under her thumb. It wasn't even about food anymore, she quickly realized he can make his own, Buu simply just enjoyed her company. Her friendship meant everything to him. It wasn't often that people treated him kindly so getting that sort of attention from Y/n made him latch on to her so heavily.

Lost in her thoughts Y/n hadn't even noticed the door swing open. Y/n was expecting it to be Buu coming to pick her up but it was the man she was thinking about seconds earlier.

Y/n stepped back stunned, "Lord Beerus? Wha-" before she could finish Beerus chuckled, "Long time, no see, Y/n, I came to visit you," he said smoothly.

Y/n nodded, "Well I see that but for what? You're a God, you should be busy," she laughed a little.

"Gods have favorite treats too, you know and I just can't stop thinking about those delectable squares of fudge," he said.

Y/n smiled, "Well you're in luck! I've got a whole tray, business was slow today and since Buu didn't come in, not much is missing," she explained.

Beerus looked absolutely enthralled as she stared into the glass, "Glorious," he purred, in awe.

Y/n grabbed the tray and placed it on the countertop, "Go ahead, eat, I'm stoked that you like my baking!" She said, "I swear if it wasn't for you, Buu and Bulma I would've quit by now," she sighed, "It's a bit hard to get by," she said.

Beerus, now stuffing his face with the fudge squares paused, he swallowed then rolled his eyes, "The earthlings on this planet are absolutely foolish if they don't indulge in the delicacies here, I can't believe I ever intended to terminate this planet, the food is so delightful," he said.

Y/n laughed, "Buu says the same thing, I think his whole plan was to blow it up to prove a point but he didn't, heh! Maybe he was bluffing about how strong he is," Y/n joked.

"Bluffing? Hm, his reputation says otherwise, I've known him to do the bidding of that little wizard man Bibidi, they were pretty damn serious about taking out planets," Beerus said nonchalantly.

Y/n tilted her head, "Were you friends?" She asked with a smile.

"Far from it," Beerus laughed, "However I'd like to be your friend. You bring good old Lord Beerus his sweets and I keep your little planet safe," he offered, "It's an alliance beneficiary to us both," he stated.

Y/n nodded, "Of course! You know, we can always hang too, I'm free most of the time," he offered, "We can do Earth things! Have you ever been to Satanland? It's the best!" She said.
