Ember's POV
I couldn't see, though I was awake. I couldn't move. I was trapped. I could hear people talking but I just couldn't see them. I couldn't scratch the itch on my nose or move myself to get into a more comfortable position. I was mummified.
Luna's POV
Don't ask me why, I just knew, she was at the hospital. ( Also because I looked out of my window and I saw Ember's house round the corner with an ambulance in front of it. I bolted out of the front door, ran down the street and jumped into the ambulance and hid in the very corner. I watched them put Ember in and then they slammed the door. We were on our way to the hospital.
Ember's POV
"Ember, Ember" I heard Luna calling to me. I tried to reply but no words would come out. So inside my head I said "Hi Luna" I heard the reply "Hi Ember glad you can hear me." I was confused " but I cant speak! How can she hear me" is said inside my head. " I can read minds" Luna replied. She can! I wish i could do that to!
" you can Ember, I'm not speaking to you."
"You aren't?"
"No"
"Why can I read your mind"
"I'll tell you someday"
"Now!"
"NO"
Luna's POV
The ambulance came to a halt. " We here!"
"were?" came the reply from Ember
"The hospital"
"Hospital no!"
"why"
"not the hospital no not the hospital, I have to get out"
"you can't your in a coma" I said
"Oh no!" came the reply.
