chapter 11 saving the prince part 1

goku, whis and berrus is on earth preparing with everyone to launch into space to save vegeta. goku has been cold and distant and serious it's starting to get everyone worried. bulma walks to goku while he's putting on some of that amor bulma made for them when cell was a problem. she puts her hand on his shoulder "bulma-goku...is everything okay your acting different" "goku-how am I supposed to act bulma?" "bulma-how's your connection to him..?" "goku-bulma I've been trying but I can't hear his thoughts at all and I can't sense his emotions like he can't feel anything.." he has a dead expression "bulma-he's not dead I know it" "goku-I never said he was" "bulma-you're face says it all but I know this is also about your memories.. goku it doesn't matter how you were before you got your memories your still you" goku turned to her fast with a mad look and jerked her arm away "goku-and who am I?" her eyes opened wide "goku-you know what's it like not having any memories about your home and family so no reason to mourn them and all of a sudden you remember everything? bulma I know you care and I appreciate that but I need time which I can't have at the moment cause the man I love is in trouble so please let's just focus on saving him" he walks past her but she grabs his arm "bulma-wait you said that you couldn't use your powers on the ship cause of those energy rings or whatever so here hopefully you still know how to use it" she hands him his old bo staff he grabs it and looks at it "goku-this definitely will come in handy" "gohan-the ship is all nice and fueled up and ready" "goku-okay gohan, goten, bulma and trunks let's go" they go on the ship "whis-bulma keep that communicator close to call me in case something happens then I can come and get you guys out of there" she nods and they blast off. bulma was working on some weapons and gadgets to use on frieza and his men. goku and the boys spend the time sparing with out using their energy for when they get there. goku is sitting on the floor trying to concentrate to reach vegeta desperately but no luck "goku thoughts-come on vegeta please answer me or something please.." "goten-I hate seeing dad like this" "gohan-I know me too but he's going through a lot right now I'd probably be a mess if I was in his possession" "trunks-I hope my dad is okay" "goten-I'm sure he's fine he's vegeta" "gohan-he's right I'm more worried about frieza" all three of them laugh. they sit at a table bulma joined and they all just talked about vegeta and shared some stories to cheer them up. "goten-I remember that one time when me and trunks got lost in space we thought we were goners then vegeta came and saved us though he was mad at you trunks" "trunks-haha yeah he said we be having a long talk and boy it was and an angry one" "bulma-he does have his best dad moment's" "gohan-yeah but he also had his scary moment's remember how he got when that guy frost cheated at that tournament" "bulma-yeah I honestly thought he killed him" "gohan-same but he got more mad at him at the tournament of power when he tried to trap vegeta in a jar" "goten-yeah dad told me it sounded like he was gonna kill him" they all laugh. goku looks over at them and comes to join. "goku-yeah...I can't count the number of times he's saved me he seemed mad each time of course I don't blame him I have a habit of getting into some crazy situations" "gohan-you really do, you two have come a long way sense you two meet I seem to remember a certain prince trying to crush you to death" "goku-he did come close to doing that he is a worthy rivel and an amazing partner" he smiles thinking about all their good times with each other's through out the years. "gohan-dad you're smiling" "goku-yeah ha..no matter where he is he always can make me smile" they all slide next to goku and hug him they all have tears going down there faces. "goku-were coming vegeta...just hang in there.." it was night and goku tucked goten into bed he went to sleep cuddling a pillow pretending it's vegeta and he remembers how vegeta has his hand on goku face he put his hand on his cheek feeling like vegeta's hand was still there he rolls himself into a ball hugging his pillow tight will tears fall down his face. they finally arrive at the base goku last saw vegeta. "bulma-is he here" "goku-yeah they are I sense the- vegeta.. I I sense him he's alive but something's different" "bulma-boys go destroy any and all ships gohan go take out their data so they can't do anything like any of this again I'll stay here and guard the ship" "trunks-how you don't got any powe-" she brings up a high tech gun and charges it "trunks-never mind" "goku-I'm going to fine frieza and make him take me to vegeta" they all split up goku enters the building and his energy disappears so he can't sense vegeta anymore he grabs out his bo staff and beat up frieza's men until the over powered him and got surrounded "goku-okay you got me just take me to frieza" they take his bo staff and take him to frieza". trunks and goten places bombs on the ships "goten-this is awesome" "trunks-it would be if we had our powers so this is a little scary" "goten-still awesome" gohan makes it to the control room and starts hacking into it "gohan-I may not understand any of this but luckily I'm a quick study come on come on". goku walks up a ramp and sees frieza on his little throne he smirks down at goku "goku-here's how this is gonna go your gonna give me vegeta then your gonna leave us all alone including earth or I am gonna destroy your whole base for good and make sure you stay dead this time" frieza snickers then laughs hard "goku-is um something funny?" "frieza-oh my dear monkey if you could do all of that you would have done so by now" goku clenches his fists tight "vegeta-kakarot?" goku looked around but vegeta was no where In sight "goku-vegeta?" "frieza-you want your prince so bad well maybe he can show you the error in not joing...come here child" goku turns around and sees vegeta walking up in a frieza uniform he opens his eyes and their purple with no pupils "vegeta-hello kakarot" goku looked at him with shock and horror.
