The Wedding Deal:Prologue

"So Mr. and Mrs. Turner, how did you guys met?" A young girl of about twenty four sat across the table facing Chase and Natalie, a notebook and a pen in hand.

Natalie smiled and Chase let out a chuckle.

"Um,it's nothing extraordinary," Natalie said with a smile attempting to hide the blush that crept to her cheeks.

"You don't wanna hear it," Chase added, grinning.

"Of course I do," said the young girl picking up her coffee mug and taking a sip.

"Oh! It's just the usual. Boy meets girl thing. They fall in love. Get married. Have kids. That's all," Natalie said as Chase tried really hard to surpress a laugh. She could not help but notice his handsome features. And for a moment she wondered how she'd ever been so lucky to have him besides her. She smiled.

"Hey,come on!I don't want to intrude into your personal lives but here we're talking about the dream couple of every singlets out there," the girl said,"and that includes myself, and if I don't get this story I'll be kicked out of the office tomorrow."

Chase and Natalie both seemed to be amused by the outgoing character here in front of them. They both chuckled at her words.

"Okay, so if you want to, but later don't say you're bored," Chase crossed his legs. A grin still imprinted on his handsome face. He turned and winked at Natalie.

"I won't. This sure is gonna be something." The girl smiled and opened a new page of her notebook.

"No! This is embarrassing Chase," Natalie hissed.

"I think it's cute," Chase leaned in and gave a quick peck on her lips.

"Awww...that's so adorable," the girl clasped her hands.

Natalie groaned.

Chase cleared his throat and was about to start when....

"Mommy!look," a little girl came running with a paper scribbled with crayons.

"Hi there!" Natalie reached for the child,"what have we got here?" She took the paper from the little girl.

"I drew it myself mommy!" The little girl said with a triumphant smile showing her small pearl white teeth.

"Of course you did," Chase picked her up and placed her on his lap. He observed the scribbled paper for a few seconds. "Oh! This is exquisite, darling! You've got your drawing skills from your mom." He grinned at Natalie.

"O shut up." She slapped his arm.

"Who's that?" The little girl pointed to the girl sitting across the table.

"Why don't you go ask her?" Chase put her feet down on the floor. As soon as her feet touched the floor she ran across the other side of the table.

"Who are you?"

"Hi there, I'm Melanie. What's your name?"

"My name is Sophie. What are you doing here?" She asked in her cute little voice.

"Umm...I'm a friend of your daddy and I came to meet him." Melanie ruffled her hair.

"You're daddy's friend so you're my friend too," she grinned.

"Of course, I am. You're so cute!" Melanie tickled the little girl as she giggled.

"What are you talking about to daddy?"

"Um,he was about to tell me how your beautiful mommy sitting out there," she gestured towards Natalie and Sophie nodded,"met your daddy."

Sophie ran towards Chase."You never told me daddy." She complained in her childish tone.

"I will if you go and take a nap. Bed time." He sing songed as he picked her up and handed her to the nanny.

"Promise?"

"Promise. Take care," he planted a kiss on her cheeks as the nanny carried her upstairs.

"She's so adorable. How old is she?" Melanie asked.

"She's four," Natalie said, adoration evident in her voice for the little girl.

"Too bright for a four year old, she's absolutely a package." Melanie said.

"So, where were we?" Chase took his seat.

"You were just about to start your journey to love," she said excitedly almost jumping in her seat.

"You really want to do this?" Natalie asked as she blushed.

"Uh-huh!"

"So well, here it goes," Chase crossed his legs.

As Melanie describes 'the journey to love' begins next chapter. Hopefully you'll come back for it.
I'm not sure when the next chapter will kick in but I'll try my best to update it soon. Who knows it may be tomorrow, perhaps! or maybe not.
