I was sitting on a park bench reading a book. There were children playing around. I looked up as a little girl of about five came up to me.
"Hello!" I smiled.
"Please put on your seatbelts." She said with a serious look.
I looked at her confused.
"Seatbelts?" I asked her.
"All passengers are requested to put on their seatbelts." She said again.
"Hey, little kid I—" I was about to say something when someone budged me.I woke up startled. "What?" I looked around confused. I was at a park, where am I now?
"Did you sleep well?" Someone said.
"Huh?"I turned around.
I stared at the man sitting next to me wondering where I'd seen him.
"Back to earth, Natalie." He waved a hand in front of my face.
He knows my name? I closed my eyes and shook my head to clear my mind. I looked around one more time and then I realized where I was. I must have fallen asleep.
"Sorry, I was out of my mind." I said to Chase feeling embarrassed.
"I know." He teased and chuckled.
All passengers are requested to put on their seatbelts. We are touching down at the Oklahoma International Airport in ten minutes. The announcement came.
"Seatbelts." I muttered remembering the dream, feeling stupid. I decided never to sleep again during journeys. Who knows I was sleep talking. It's just so embarrassing.
"Seatbelt." Chase told me as he buckled his own.
"Huh? Yeah." I buckled my own.
"So, we're finally here." He smiled.
"Home." I nodded and smiled back. Then a thought crossed my mind. I knew I was finally home and I'm gald. But. But how do I tell Chase I threw away his paper? How do I tell him I ruined his company? My heart started to beat, so loud that I felt it would fall out of my mouth. Keep calm Natalie. Keep calm. I took a heavy breath. Chase turned to look at me with raised brows. I gave him a lop sided smile which I knew he noticed.
"Everything's fine?" He asked.
"Yeah." I replied quickly.
"Okay."He nodded.

I collected my bags and took a deep breath as I waited for Chase as he collected his. I didn't have to tell him. He wouldn't know. But I have to. He'd helped me come home. I owed him. I don't know him so well as to how he'd react, but whatever maybe, I have to.
We were walking towards the exit when I suddenly stopped and took a deep breath.
"Chase?" I looked at him.
"What?" He looked concerned.
"Um, I —I," I stuttered.
"Are you alright? Are you sick?" He asked. We've known each other for only about eleven hours but we'd become a good friends. He looked really concerned. What will he think of me? Come on. Tell him right away. Anyway, you're not seeing him again. Who cares about what he thinks.
"I threw it." I said closing my eyes.
He did not say a thing. I popped one eye to see him looking at me with confusion. I sighed.
"Okay. Here's the thing. I found the paper in my bag and I didn't knew what it was so I threw it in the trash can." I waited for his reply. He was still looking at me confused, like I was speaking an alien language.
