I had just made it back in time to Jinpachi's viewing room to witness the first trial began. Taking in my surroundings, there is a lot to look at.

The lights were off but because a whole wall was practically made of monitors, it illuminated the room enough to see where I am going. Many of the monitors showcased a variety of angles alongside the teams. On the surrounding two sides, there are just as many screens, however, gathering real-time data on each player. It almost looks psychotic with everything set up. Although to be honest it is fascinating seeing each player's stats in real-time. I take a quick glance at who is number one at the moment and a small yet utterly zombie-sounding yelp escaped my lips. Itoshi Rin. Itoshi Rin as in the guy I fell into a couple of hours ago at the assembly. Itoshi Rin as in the brother of Itoshi Sae. Itoshi Rin as in the mature Isagi. Itoshi Rin as in-

"[y/n] what was the disgusting noise you made just there? Actually, do not answer, I decided I do not care. I have already prepared first aid kits in your room because some of these players are about to need them."

I snap out of my daze and focus on the screens, and pursed my lips. I was caught lacking.

"How kind of you. Also, where is my room?" I mention, moving on from my blunder.

"It should say your name."

Wow. That is very helpful indeed. Great talk.

It seems that the first trial is underway and looking at Team Z since Igaguri is ranked 300 he is 'it' first. All the guys are extremely agile and maneuver themselves from being hit by the ball. As the trial continues ahead, I examine my brother's room, unimpressed at its current state. For day one, it sure is already a mess in here. While the section around the monitors remains spotless, everything behind it is a cluttered disaster. He has piles and piles of cup noodles laying around. I double-take to make sure he is not looking at me while I snag a few, it is not like he would notice they were gone anyways. I sigh rummaging through his stuff, trying to organise and tidy up a little until I hear an almost bone-shattering impact from the speakers. Immediately my eyes flash to the screen only to see Igaguri getting kicked in the face by another player with a bleached underlayer of their hair. I peek to the right screens to see that player is Bachira, rank 290.

'God that definitely hurt for sure.' My nose scrunched in discomfort knowing someone got hurt.

I observe as the spikey orange scolds Bachira. Yet two seconds have not even passed and the orange hedgehog gets slapped in the face with the ball. I cringe witnessing it, subconsciously grabbing my own cheek as if I am the one who got hit.
