"Phew~ BeepBoob, pull up some schematics on these wires will ya?" Cortana said to her little floating droid who beeped in agreement, pulling up holograms of the schematics.
Cortana was a fixer for hire, she was a woman who was born on Concordia and grew up on there, she wasn't a Mandalorian, she saw a republic citizen who escaped with her parents when the Mandalorians invaded. she grew up a gifted mechanic and proud of it, so she offered as a fixer for hire...
what she didn't know was that she was trespassing while somewhere else Virgil and Sabine were trespassing as well, they had heard about from Brok that he had a lead for a hidden Imperial data cash that Brok could sell to a good bidder in the Black Market and give the Ghost crew an eighty percent pay of it, and Brok gets the rest...
"I feel dirty, were just Bounty Hunters." Virgil said.
"No were mercenaries, we do things for money, Bounty Hunters hunt people down. Big Difference." Sabine said as she and Virgil explored the warehouse, they found spare weapon parts and other junk, but they soon ran into Cortana and Beepboob, Virgil drew his rifle and aimed it at her and her droid.
"Who are you, why are you here?!" he commanded.
"Whoa, Whoa, whoa! ease up their buddy, I'm just a humble fixer with my innocent Droid here, I was just hired to strip some important wires here, so if you let us go, we'll just leave." Cortana tried her best to talk her way out of the situation.
"This place is abandoned, were trespassing, were looking for an Imperial data cash, are you any good at hacking terminals?" Sabine said, Virgil then knocked her in the shoulder. "What?" Sabine asked. "We Don't know her; she might be an Imperial Spy for all we know!" Virgil shout-whispered at Sabine.
"I can hear you still you know. But I'm not an Imperial Spy, I was hired by a guy named Brok from a bar." Cortana said, Virgil needed that and lowered his weapon. "Brok didn't say we'd run into anyone else he hired. He hired us to find that Imperial cash, guess we can both work together." Virgil said as he put his weapon away, Cortana sighed as she heard that.
"We'll Brok might split the take, or he'll give her his cut, he is known for being generous in his own way." Sabine said.
"Who told you that?" Virgil said.
"Brok told me himself, convenient huh?" Sabine said Virgil reached up and removed his helmet and Cortana grew flustered as she saw Virgil's handsome face, his beautiful red-like eyes, his bushy thick beard and sleek black hair caused her to feel her heartbeat be twice as fast, Sabine and Virgil noticed this, Virgil internally sighed as Sabine giggled as she saw this happen.
"Are you done looking at me, my daughter Rachel here is well here, and I don't want her to see a grown woman become wet because of my face." Virgil said, calling Sabine Rachel and refer to her as his daughter...
