Sea-Stone || Luffy x Reader

The log pose had finally reset, which meant you guys were heading toward a different island. When you woke up this morning you had to peel the captain's arms off of you, it seems he's made a habit of sneaking into your bed in the middle of the night. Too innocent to realize what he's actually doing, and you weren't going to be the one to explain it. You had already asked Franky to make a bed for you in the girls' bedroom but he said it would take time, we would need to find springs and feathers so he could make a mattress- or just buy one. Whichever comes first. 

You already had breakfast and it was a pretty chill day on the ship. It was absurdly hot and you wanted to just jump in the water and cool off. You were walking around the ship in your bikini top and shorts, not wanting to relax in just a bikini so the shorts made you feel better. You made your rounds to every crew member, offering your help in any which way you could. Today was extremely boring because it was too hot to do anything productive, although you did make sure to water all the plants since it was boiling outside and they looked kind of wilted. 

Luffy was deflated over the railing of the ship, close to falling in if he were to lean anymore. You went over to your captain and placed your hand on his back, he instantly shot up and mumbled something about 'feeling weird when you touch him', you pouted kinda hurt by the comment even though he's the one that touches you first 90% of the time. Luffy walked towards the kitchen, where Nami and Robin were trying to escape from the sun. You took Luffy's place on the railing, leaning against it and looking down at the blue water below. 

Sanji came over and offered you an icy drink, which you gladly accepted because you felt like you were going to overheat. 

Even though you had only been part of the crew for a short period of time, they all seem to care and trust you. It did feel a little weird having people around so often, but you much preferred it to being lonely. The freedom that this crew has given you is something you'd never be able to return. So to pay off your debt you vowed to always protect them, even at the cost of yourself. Your trident was resting against the wall since you didn't have a means of carrying it by your side without physically holding it in your hands. 

Nami calling your name from the kitchen made you come out of your thoughts, gladly following her voice into the cooler room. "What's up Nami?" The woman gave you a devilish look, as you saw a bright blushing Luffy next to her. Confused you watched Luffy walk by you without making eye contact, Sanji also looked abnormally irritated by his captain. You sat down at the table after Nami had motioned you to, both girls' eyes staring into your soul. 

"(Your Name), how do you feel about Luffy?" You got flushed at the question, unsure of what she meant. 

"He- he's just our captain I don't know what you're talking about," Nami smirked and decided she wasn't going to let you off the hook easy. Anyone dumb enough to have a crush on Luffy must have a good reason.

"He seems to have taken a liking to you (Your Name)." She spoke in a song-like voice, teasing you with the fact that the captain does indeed treat you differently. 

You huffed and looked the other way, crossing your arms childishly, "We- we haven't known each other long enough to do such things. The captain is just being friendly." Nami nodded, agreeing with the fact that it has only been a short time. Upon this agreement she changed the topic to ask if you wanted to help them set up a small pool on the deck, to help everyone cool off. 

Immediately interested, she explained that Franky would build an above-ground pool so that we could all relax without dying from the heat. Excited you went and changed into your bikini bottoms, going to help Franky build the pool. 

Once the pool was finished, you were the first to jump in, instantly relieved by the coolness of the water. Luffy stood on one of the sails, just his shorts and hat on, ready to jump into the pool. "Luffy! The pool isn't deep enough for that" Franky tried to warn but it was too late for he had jumped off the mast. Annoyed you stood under the captain, catching him as he sent the both of you underwater. His hand protected the back of your head as it hit the ground, his face in between your breasts. As you stood up out of the water, Luffy detached from you and started to swim around.
