While you are sitting on a park bench near Valhalla's hideout, Kazutora is buying water from a vending machine. He gave you a quick look as he waited for the customer in front to complete their purchase.

You're just staring at the ground, not budging, which is making the young lad worry even more. He can't forget how you looked when he found you earlier. Your face showed a mix of fear, anger, and relief. Your whole body was shaking like crazy. It took him a while to calm you down, and when you finally stopped hyperventilating, you just started staring into space.

He wishes he could take away all your pain, but he knows it's impossible. The best he can do is just stay by your side, and let you know that everything's going to be okay... That this storm don't last forever.

"Here, drink some water to calm your nerves." Kazutora gently said, handing you the water bottle, but you didn't move; instead, you were just staring at your hands that were still trembling.

"y/n—" Kazutora was about to hold your shoulder when you pulled back at the faint sound of a police siren.

"Ha—Ha...ha....ha" You looked at your boyfriend's hazy face and shook your head slowly. Kazutora's eyes widened upon seeing you laughing while tears streamed down your face.

"I'm the worst." You mumbled.

"No. You only did what you had to do because it was a life-or-death situation. I gave you the pocket knife for this reason, and I'm relieved you were able to defend yourself."

"You don't understand, Tora. I'm not scared that I killed my stepfather. I'm scared of myself because I don't feel guilty at all. The truth is, I'm fucking happy. I'm happy that I'm the one who put an end to that asshole's life." You muttered quickly as your voice was trembling so badly, then you laughed once more. Kazutora put the water down and drew you into a hug, stroking your hair.

"Don't be afraid of yourself, y/n. That motherfucker pushed you to the brink, and he got what he deserved," he said, cupping your cheeks and lifting them.

"You're not a bad person. The bad ones are those who abused you... Who abused us. We're not to blame here, okay?" Kazutora wiped your tears away as you gazed into those calm sandy-colored eyes. Then, suddenly, as if by magic... You feel so much better, the heavy feeling has lifted, and you have stopped trembling.

"God. I really love you." You mumbled and pulled him into a tight hug, burying your head in the crook of his neck. "I love you so much. I love you, Tora. I love you."

"I love you too, y/n. I will never leave you, always remember that." He whispered, resting his head over yours while stroking your hair.

You talked for a little bit more, and when you fully calmed down, you both went back to the hideout and packed your remaining things. You then counted the money, planned the expenses, and after an hour, everything was set.

"What about your gang?"

"I told them I'm leaving, they were against it at first but everything is okay now." He replied and looked at you. "Are you done?"

You nodded in response and Kazutora extended his hand. "Let's go." He smiled that also painted a smile on your lips. You happily accepted his hand and left Tokyo.

I don't care what happens tomorrow, the next day, or in the next few years. I can endure anything as long as he's by my side.

The two of you hit the road and, after about an hour, decided to stop at a little takoyaki stand to grab some food. You just realized that you both haven't eaten since yesterday.
