Chapter 1 - The Khan Family

Third person Pov

A bright and sunny morning each member of the Khan family was busy doing they daily activities for the day. Aaminah Khan the mother in law of the house was busy making breakfast for her family. She doesn't have to as they have chefs in their home but she likes making breakfast for her family it gives her joy in making breakfast for her family. Fariha was helping her mother in law preparing the breakfast for the family.

Aaminah is a lawyer whereas her daughter in law Fariha is a Doctor.

"Where is this Zahra she must come and help in the kitchen. I am going to take her to task today." said Aaminah

"Ammi she is must be sleeping her holidays just started." said Fariha

"Dont take her side Fariha I very well know her holidays started yesterday." said Aaminah

"Why stress so much begum. Leave her let the child sleep her holidays just started." Taimoor Khan said as he was walking down the stairs in to the kitchen.

As Zahra is the youngest daughter of the Khan household and she is loved and spoiled by each and every member of her family. Her mother Aaminah spoils her to a limit but displines her when needed.

"Taimoor, you pamper her too much. I know she must be tired with the exams all I asked her to at least help in the kitchen. She must be educated and also know how to work in the kitchen. After all she needs to learn basic survival skills. Plus her holidays started she was at home all day yesterday since she had no classes. I gave her break and let her sleep in I didn't say anything. " said Aaminah

"Begum, don't stress she will help in the kitchen." said Taimoor

"Thats what she said yesterday.
Zayna learned how to cook and she cooks such delicious food.
I don't know what Zahra is going to do when she gets married how is she going to feed her husband. I am only teaching basic survival skills but no she doesn't want to learn." said Aaminah

"I feel bad for her future husband having a wife who doesn't know how to cook." Zohaib said chuckling while walking into the kitchen.

"Seriously, are you all really gossiping about me right now." Zahra huffed and puffed as she walked in to the kitchen

"Yes, we are gossiping about someone who does not how to cook." said Zohaib

"Bhai... Papa see how he is irrating me" said Zahra

"Zohaib how about you stop making jokes about your sister cooking and not knowing how to cook. How is your cooking lessons going? You are getting married soon and you need to know how to cook for your wife. " Taimoor said in a stern voice.

In the Khan family they don't only teach their daughters how to cook but their son's as well. Because why should the wife only cook. The husband must be able to cook for his wife as well, also they need to learn basic survival skills.

"Papa, I.. My cooking lessons... Mama..."

"What are you looking at your mama for?"
"Your mama is not always going to cook for you your whole life."
"When I was your age I knew how to cook many different dishes" Taimoor said in a stern voice.

"Taimoor, my son will learn don't stress and he knows quite a bit" said Aaminah.

"Yes, papa mama is right" said Zohaib

"Begum, don't cover for him I know very well how much he knows how to cook and Zohaib since you know quite alot why don't you cook Sunday lunch for us." said Taimoor in a stern voice that scared Zohaib.

"Family gathering without me" Azlan said carrying little Sierra

"Zohaib Bhai is cooking lunch." said Zahra

"Zahra" said Zohaib

"Don't Zahra her you cooking Sunday lunch and that's final." said Taimoor making Zohaib gulp.

"Jee, papa" said Zohaib

"Phupo" squeeled little Sierra

"Come to Phupo and let's eat breakfast and let the oldies enjoy they talk. Also Zohaib Chachu is making lunch. "

Sierra squeeled
"Chachu"

"See she agrees with Phupo" said Zahra

Everyone laughed and decided to eat breakfast and get ready for the day.
